As someone who travels for work all across the United States, I love to frequent local coffee shops in the cities I visit. Here is a massive list of the coffee shops I've encountered across over 45 U.S. States.
Additional international locations will be added later on. International culture around coffee shops is not always the same as in the U.S. but still make for great stops to refuel.

Looking for a perfect way to spend a long weekend in Maui, Hawai’i, check out this 3 and a half day itinerary to take the stress out of planning your ideal island vacation and leave the relaxing to you. This itinerary is made for adults ages 21+ in mind.
When in Hawai’i, always remember to respect the locals, the rules, their culture and wildlife, leave places better than you found them, and practice the leave no trace principle. Remember, we are guests in their home.
Out of respect and guidance, this guide does not include any stops or activities in West Maui. Our hearts go out to the grieving communities and local islanders who are still struggling to recover from the wildfires in early August 2023. Please do not go to Lahaina or take photos of the area.
Whenever possible, shop, eat, and play by supporting local shops and groups.

Escape the hustle and bustle of Phoenix and head north about 2 hours to Sedona, AZ. Known for the gorgeous red rocks and great hiking, it is the perfect spot for a quick weekend getaway.
It is highly recommended to visit in the early spring or fall to avoid the heat midday. I've visited in both May and January, each experience being totally different but, still enjoyable. If you visit in the winter months, plan to see snow (yes it snows in Arizona).

Welcome to the southern Arizona dessert oasis to experience the soul of the Sonoran desert - where saguaro cacti exist as far as you can see and the sunsets look exactly like the state license plate. Tucson is the place to be to enjoy mountains, outdoor recreation and all that the desert can offer. Officially classified as a UNESCO City of Gastronomy and a year-round outdoor playground.
Included in this guide is a 2 day itinerary for outdoor activities and enjoying the desert city to the max. We visited in October and the weather was perfect. Be advised that in the summer, hiking in the desert is dangerous and is only recommended early in the morning to avoid heat stroke and other heat related issues. Always carry water with you and know your limits.
This guide will also include
- How to Get There
- Things to Do & See
- Where to Stay
- Places to Eat
- Outdoor activities
Be on the look out for scorpions and other desert critters as they are widely popular in this region. We discovered 2 scorpions during our visit.

We had the unique experience to explore town while Germany is hosting the 2024 European Soccer Championship. A few spots have been closed due to their fan zone that would normally be open during the year. This has made it a fun way to experience the people and culture of Germany.
Berlin is well known for their eclectic and lively nightlife scene. While this is not something we did much with, it makes for a great way to spend the evening for those 18 and older.

Ever wondered what it was like to book a flight with a long layover? This guide showcases how to maximize your travel days and where to have fun during a quick stopover.
This guide includes a personal experience of a 17-hour layover in Dublin, Ireland. Details contain where we stayed, things to see, where to eat, and other local downtown highlights. Since we arrived in the late afternoon, we could not book a trip to Northern Ireland to see Giants Causeway (this is on our list for the next time we visit!)
The best part of a long layover is having your checked bags sent to your final destination. With no large bags to drag around, it frees up your time and your hands to start exploring sooner.
Check out this guide for a detailed trip recap that we hope inspires you to book a long layover on your next flight.
