Mexico City floods the senses the moment you hit the capital. Chilangos—as locals are known, all 8.8 million of them—move through the metropolis at a quicker tempo than their counterparts elsewhere in the country, and a quick weekend jaunt will see you keeping pace.
These are some of the major landmarks and must-visit places. If you have the time you must visit at least three of them.

Mexico City (CDMX) is an incredible place with a rich history and culture. You could easily spend a year or more here and still be discovering new things!
CDMX is enormous and each neighbourhood offers a completely different vibe with it's own unique attractions. Therefore, this guide is organized by the most iconic neighbourhoods so you can choose to stay close to what suits you and your interests best.
The guide includes recommendations for places to eat, attractions and activities, and places to stay for the following neighbourhoods: Roma Norte, Condesa, Centro Histórico, and Polanco, as well as some honourable mentions for other places to check out outside of those areas.
This is a living guide that I'm always updating as I discover more places in Mexico City!

My husband and I recently went on a seven-night trip to Mexico, combining the historic San Miguel de Allende (SMDA) with the vibrant Mexico City (CDMX). CDMX was on my list for a long time and I was thrilled to finally make it there.
Our journey began in San Miguel de Allende, where we spent two nights. Then, we traveled by private car to Mexico City, where we stayed for five nights.
In this guide, I’m sharing the highlights of our trip in CDMX, offering insights and tips for those who may not travel often but are eager to explore new destinations.
I hope my experiences inspire you to consider your journey.

buen dia - hi fam, in an effort to stop exporting my confusing google maps when friends request my recs, I made this lovely lovely little guide for you, dear friend, mi amigo, if you will.
great for a long weekend or a week, it's mostly coffee, art, and food, plus my favorite pilates studio.
if you're visiting CDMX and need a place to stay, my apartment here is on Airbnb Plus and linked below as well :)
AND if you're feeling kind, 100% of tips will be donated to Yaaj Mexico, a non-profit, non-partisan and secular organization responsible for defending, promoting and protecting human rights of the LGBTI+ population in Mexico.

The obsession with small town Mexico continues. Oaxaca is a mid-sized city in Mexico’s most southern state by the same name. There is no beach here.
A quick long weekend get-away for two adults. We did a one-day activity outside of the city to the petrified waterfalls, and the rest we hung out in the city and explored. Walking tour is always helpful!
This itinerary has a high end hotel with a private cenote and private hot-tub. Very luxe.
