The Ultimate Mexico City Guide 🇲🇽
Sarah Elizabeth
Mexico City (CDMX) is an incredible place with a rich history and culture. You could easily spend a year or more here and still be discovering new things!
CDMX is enormous and each neighbourhood offers a completely different vibe with it's own unique attractions. Therefore, this guide is organized by the most iconic neighbourhoods so you can choose to stay close to what suits you and your interests best.
The guide includes recommendations for places to eat, attractions and activities, and places to stay for the following neighbourhoods: Roma Norte, Condesa, Centro Histórico, and Polanco, as well as some honourable mentions for other places to check out outside of those areas.
This is a living guide that I'm always updating as I discover more places in Mexico City!

Roma Norte
Roma Norte is where you want to go to experience Mexico City's food and artistic zeitgeist. It has an eclectic mix of trendy cafes, upscale restaurants, charming boutiques, and stunning colonial architecture.
Top things to do in Roma Norte include eating and drinking at some of the city's best cafes and restaurants, shopping in vintage stores, discovering the street art, and checking out the colonial architecture.

Jenni's Street Quesadillas is a great option if you want to taste some of the best street food in CDMX. Prices are cheap and quality is high. They offer quesadillas, tortas, and more, all cooked to order.

Taquería Orinoco | $
@sarahelizabeth
Orinoco has become a favourite among travellers to CDMX because the menu and the process for ordering are easy to navigate and not as intimidating as some of the street food stands in the city. The tacos are delicious (I recommend the trompo), and if you order more than 3, you get a side of roasted potatoes for free.
They have a few locations throughout Mexico City.
