🏴The Self Guided Road Trip of Your Dreams: 3 Night Journey to Isle of Skye
Embark on the road trip of a lifetime through the enchanting, winding roads of the Highlands to the Isle of Skye. This breath taking drive will unlock all the natural wonders of the Highlands, into the Isle, and beyond!
This is truly one of the most beautiful road trips I have ever been on, one that is sure to leave you at peace and in awe of the stunning Scottish countryside!
What this guide provides:
🚗 An in depth 3 night, 4 day roundtrip journey to the Isle of Skye starting and ending in Glasgow
🍽️ Great eats & drinks along the road trip to get to know the Highlands and the Isle in a very special way
🏨 Amazing accommodation recommendations
✨ Inside scoops to all my favorite places and memories made along the way
I would recommend renting a car for this guide as you will be able to move more freely than on a scheduled guided tour. The Highlands and the Isle of Skye are locations that you will want to indulge in hiking and taking your time with the amazing scenery. Be sure to pack all the necessary gear to be able to hike in potentially wet or cold settings. You will not be able to enjoy yourself if you are not properly dressed for the brisk Scottish cold.

Have you ever dreamt about travelling to Iceland? Here I share the most complete 8-day itinerary along the Ring Road in Iceland!
After having lived in Iceland for more than 1 year, I want to share with you my best tips based on my experience for travelling around one of the most beautiful places I've ever seen and that I like to call home. I’m also sharing special places and not only the most popular ones.
What to consider before reading:
• Personally, I believe that the most enjoyable way to travel around Iceland is by Campervan
• The most important thing to pack is different layers of clothes, no matter what season you are in
• Bare in mind that it's illegal to camp outside campings in Iceland (this is under your own responsibility) and this guide is not focusing on camping sites.
• Be aware of the fast changing and though Icelandic weather.
• Bring eye mask to sleep (there's almost no darkness during the Midnight Sun).
• Feel free to modify the starting point of the road trip (either starting from the South or the West) according to the weather forecast (although it can be unpredictible).
• I would not recommend taking detours that I suggest along the blog if weather conditions are not good.
• Note that the maximum speed limit in Iceland is 90 km/h in main roads, make sure you don't overpass the limit. Traffic fines are very expensive in Iceland, you don't want to pay one! And be careful with sheep! They are constantly crossing the road.
And most importantly, ENJOY YOUR TRIP TO ICELAND!! 😜🇮🇸

Paris is one of the most magical places to visit, with some of the most iconic landmarks in the world. As beautiful as it is, it can also be very overwhelming to travel there for your first time, especially if you’re traveling with kids. It can be intimidating to think about taking a long flight, navigating public transportation, and touring places like the Louvre and Sacre Coeur with kids in tow. We know all about it, as our family recently traveled to Paris for 3 weeks. See how we made the best of visiting Paris with our kids!
Here is what you can expect in this travel guide:
- Flying tips and tricks and how to beat jet lag when traveling with your kids
- Tips for arriving to CDG airport, one of the biggest in the world
- Transportation, what you really need to know
- The best things to do as a family with an interactive map
- Hotel recommendations as well as the top Arrondissements for families
- Photos, Videos, and more!

Casablanca gets a really bad rap. The vibrant, messy, energetic, and hectic economic hub of Morocco, most visitors begin their trip in the city. In their zeal to get Moroccan tajines, tiles, and mint tea, they flock to places in the Medina and get an underwhelming and negative view of the city.
Casablanca is not Marrakesh, Fez, or even Tangier. It has a treasure trove of activities, especially if you've been to some of the historic cities and are looking for a change of scenery. So if you're looking for a great experience taking in the sights of modern Morocco, here I present my perfect day in Casablanca.

Surrounded by lush green hills and with a lake in the heart of the city, Kandy is one of most breathtaking cities in Sri Lanka. From taking a stroll around the lake to hopping around British Colonial style streets, this city has plenty to offer. Everything can be found conveniently and the locals are very friendly. You can easily travel to Kandy by train as well. If you are looking for a one day tour, this is ideal. After exploring Kandy, you would agree with me when I say, this is a place that you can never get tired of visiting.

Malmö is the third largest city in Sweden, and while it's often overlooked - it's a vibrant and lively city with lots to offer (especially on the food scene). It's a multi-cultural city with some of the best falafel, but you'll also find more upscale and fine-dining options.
While now based in Copenhagen, I'm originally from the Malmö area, and still frequently visit to check out new places and revisit my favorites. It's a short trip from Copenhagen, with the train to Malmö only taking 35 mins!
In this guide, I've included all of my personal favorites and as always - I'll continue to add to this list as I try new places.

This upscale residential barrio located northeast of the city center is perhaps *the* reason Buenos Aires is known as the "Paris of South America."
Home to dozens of important historic and cultural landmarks, postcard-worthy Belle Epoque architecture, and a buzzing variety of restaurants, bars, shops, and cafés, Recoleta is a favorite among both visitors and locals alike.
Below you'll find a wide array of options to best explore the area at your leisure, taking in the beautiful sights and its eternally chic denizens along the way.
