I didn't learn to speak much Croatian, but I did start to feel more like a local and know my way around the beautiful city and surroundings. One of my favorite countries I have ever visited is Croatia! It has some of the most breathtaking scenery in the world. I flew into Zagreb and would only recommend spending one day in the capital. It is not that impressive of a capital city. I highly recommend flying to Dubrovnik and staying 2-3 days. Then taking a bus to Split. The scenery from the bus of the Dalmatian coast will be unforgettable!
