Plitvice Lakes is one of the highlights of everyone's trip to Croatia, and is definitely worth a visit! Since it is Croatia's largest national park, there is plenty to explore. The waterfalls and incredibly blue waters are just something else! You can either self-drive the 250km, or book a tour.

Additional Tips:

Local Cuisine:

Don't miss trying local delicacies like peka (traditional slow-cooked meat and vegetables), seafood, and traditional Dalmatian dishes.

Wander the Streets:

Split's charm lies in its narrow streets and hidden corners, so allow some time to wander and discover its local life.

Remember to check the ferry schedules in advance for day trips to neighboring islands and plan your activities accordingly. Split offers a perfect blend of history, natural beauty, and vibrant culture, making it an ideal destination for a memorable three-day visit.
