Why you should put Croatia at the top of your bucket list
From 0-1oo, how I fell in love with Croatia
A few years ago I had never considered going to Croatia at all. It was nowhere on my bucket list and I really hadn't given it any consideration. But it was the summer of 2020, the height of the pandemic, and our options were limited. A friend of mine convinced me to come with her to visit another friend and off we went. Little did I know that I was in for a treat and about to fall in love with this country.
I spent two weeks driving around, from the Dalmatian coast to Istria, and the mountains close to Serbia. Considering it was still the pandemic, it was still relatively "empty" of tourists and a fantastic opportunity to get to know the different spots. Croatia quickly became one of my top 3 European destinations and since then I've had the opportunity to go back several times.
