I never really planned to visit Cabo Verde until I ended up there during sailing trip. And I'm so glad I did because it's such an undiscovered gem! So much so that I came back a year later and spend a few weeks exploring the islands. In this guide I'll take you through the two northern islands as I found them the most interesting and beautiful. The focus of the trip is nature, hiking, diving, sun, music and culture. If you're thinking about visiting Cabo Verde take this as your sign, they will not disappoint. The recommendations in the guide are mostly toward budget travellers as that's how I usually travel. If you're hoping to get more luxurious holiday all you'll need to change is the accomodations. We spent 14 days in Portugal and I can tell you that there is no better choice we could have made in our life.
