Bebo's Café

Ok run don't walk and eat here! This place is so popular they run out of the good stuff fast. We went here twice and the food is so good. I ordered the stuffed Avocado. Omg the largest Avocado I have ever seen! The Empanadas will knock your socks off they are amazingly yummy. We got the meat variety and the Cheese and Guava ones. So good we order extra to take for the drive around the island. Come hungry portions are huge.

Butterfly wall! OK I loved this! I could have played with the art for an hour. Fun pictures and fun Selfie opportunity. There is a food truck usually parked here, smelled delicious but we didn't try. Definitely stop here and take some pics!

Ruinas de la Central Plazuela
@monicamckenna
I would not go out of my way to see however if it's on the way it's worth a quick stop. You must stop at guard shack to get permission to enter. Park and then walk up. It's a business sight and very busy. Visit should only take 15 to 20 minutes. Some areas were muddy be careful where you step.

Plaza Muñoz Rivera

Stop 2 in Ponce.
This is the fountain to enjoy while you are eating your wrap from the food truck.
This fountain and park is so beautiful. Grab your huge wrap from the food truck across the street and head here to sit and eat it and enjoy this beautiful fountain. You are very close to the Fire station and the Fox Hotel. I recommend splitting a wrap they are so yummy and so big. Food truck is listed on list.

Burger King

This was too funny... come to Puerto Rico and go to BK! Lol. But they have great bathrooms, wifi and air conditioning! Partner that with good Ole fashion burger and we welcomed the midday break to rejuvenate from the heat. Located right downtown in old San Juan.

Kaffe Haus Old San Juan
@monicamckenna
Absolutely one of my favorite restaurants in old San Juan! We met the owner Jose and a really awesome server, Grant. Grant was amazing! He sat down with us with the map and marked all the places we should go see and do. My cup of coffee was so delicious and when the food came it was outstanding. Great vibe here I'll definitely be back!

Great views. The gardens are small but beautiful. The tour was OK. Included in the tour is going to the giant cross. They closed before we could go but it looked great to go see. Also with the tour there is a small bird, turtle, butterfly exhibit. Make sure and ask how to access it. No butterflies right now only couple birds and some turtles and the skinniest chicken I've ever seen! I'm not sure I would do the tour again. Maybe just walk around the outside and take pictures. I guess due to covid they no longer have the Rum tastings. The Cross looked fun... not sure if you can buy it separately to experience.

This is the food truck to eat at when you go to ponce and see the Fire Station and The Fox Hotel.
OK this place knocked our socks off it was so amazing. We got the wrap it was HUGE. I wish there was a way to have a bunch of these and send them home. We ordered one for 11 bucks and split it. It was huge. The taste is out of this world good. I've never tasted anything like it. You just simply need to try it for yourself. Go to the town of Ponce and order one. Go sit at the fountain... it is here on the list. Eat and enjoy then walk to see the Fire station then over to the Fox Hotel. A perfect day in San Juan!

Go here after you eat at the food truck and enjoy the fountain. This is a fun funky Fire station. It rained that day so we couldn't go in for safety reasons but you can see everything just standing in front. After you eat your burrito/ wrap at the fountain walk here then over to the Fox Hotel.

Macromural Brisa Tropical
@monicamckenna
This at first seemed a little sketchy. Locals were looking at us but no one bothered us. We had a hard time finding parking. After driving up and down we found a spot in front of someone's house. We walked a few blocks over to all the painted walls. It was really fun and cool to take pictures and walk around. Fun art Murals hidden around. Locals made some icy pops for a buck I recommend trying. I forgot the name of them but you will see a sandwich board hand written behind bars of a local's house. She passes the popsicle through the bars. It was tasty on a hot day and I felt good to donate to the locals. We were here about an hour and got some cool images. I would come back and explore here again. It appeared occasionally they sell local food here or have events sometime.

Sights to see! I loved this place. Make sure you wear either hiking boots or good tennis shoes. The rocks are very jagged! If you plan on going inside the caves I would recommend hiking light weight pants and packing water and maybe a snack. I would travel with a buddy for safety into the cave. I didn't go in because I was fearful of getting out and I didn't have the right gear. Still was amazing to see the views here! There are porta potties in the parking lot. A guide charges 10 per person and shares with you where to go for the best experience along with showing you pictures on where to go. To the left are the caves and to the right are the 7 arches. Absolutely beautiful. This hike would not be recommended for elderly or someone who is out of shape. The hike up is a little steep. I would not recommend for little ones either. The holes drop straight down into deep caves. You must watch where you step at all times. I had no problem with the hike and watching my step and I'm in average shape. The views here are stunning and literally you could spend the entire day here. Hence the snack and or bringing lunch. You also have access to a private beach area which is absolutely stunning! The is a must see!
