MORE DETAILS
Now that you have an idea of the itinerary, here are some more details! We rented our homes through CaboVillas. When you rent a house through CaboVillas, there is a concierge who can also help you to further plan your trip and make sure you are all settled. They help with the transportation upon arrival to the airport which is super helpful and booked us our catamaran. Our group was so big that we had to get two houses. We stayed in Villa Victoria and Villa Tequila, which were within walking distance of each other.
We opted for the Sun Cat Catamaran afternoon ride and can't recommend it enough. It was the highlight of the trip for most of us! As a present to the bride, we all chipped in to get the photographer as well which was a fun bonus. Since it was a big group of us, it was about $15 extra per person. Lastly, they coordinated getting our groceries which was a huge time saver! We knew we wanted to get groceries to be able to have some meals & snacks at our home for the weekend.
The tequila tasting at Poncho's was an interesting learning experience, but it is quite long, so be prepared. If you are looking for a fun stop on your way out, you can still go to Poncho's but opt out of the tequila tasting and just get dinner & drinks.
