Taxis are also available, but are quite costly vs. a shared shuttle and they are more likely to try to rip you off. If you prefer private transportation and don't want to wait for a shared shuttle, I'd just recommend booking a private shuttle instead of taking a taxi. Uber is not technically legal in Cabo, but it does operate. Because of this, they can't go to certain resorts or pick up from the airport.

You've got a lot of options in Cabo! While water activities are certainly the most popular, there is a lot more to the area to explore! NOTE: if you don't have your own car/don't want to manage the logistics, I've linked some great tour options under "Easy Planning" for each section!

Cabo is also home to some great artisan shops! Just beware in the main touristy areas of people trying to get you to go into a shop; they likely receive a commissions and while it doesn't always mean the shop quality is bad, it's always good to be weary. Some favorites include:

Los Cabos (Cabo San Lucas and San Jose del Cabo) are both serviced by San Jose del Cabo International Airport (SJD).

If you are plan to stay in San Jose del Cabo, the airport is a short ride. If you are staying in Cabo San Lucas, you will have around a 40 minute drive, depending on traffic.

From the airport, I highly recommend you take a pre-booked airport transfer. Both private and shared options are available, depending on your budget. 

When you arrive in Cabo, you will collect your bags and take them through the final checkpoint, after which you will enter a room full of vendors for Cabo services. You can really get ripped off here if you don't know what you are doing, but booking a shuttle ahead of time will save you from this because you can walk right past them to the awnings outside of airport exit, where pre-booked options will wait for you. I used this service and the pickup was super easy:
