Kos is home to several geothermal hot springs known for their therapeutic properties. My guide to backpacking Central America is finally here! This guide is based on hundreds of hours of research, my own 4 month long trip, and some extras that I wasn't able to get to but would still highly recommend based on reviews from trusted friends! This guide serves as an essential list of the best attractions in each country and what not to miss! The route in the guide is laid out North to South, starting in Belize and ending in Panama, but it can also be used in reverse. The guide includes information for how to get between locations; however not in great detail as the schedules and prices change frequently and let's be honest, the busses are never on time in Central America! The best way to get between places depends on your timeline and budget of your trip: if you have months to explore, take the local "chicken busses" for a more affordable and immersive experience; if you only have weeks, take the more direct shuttles; and if you're tight on time, take the more direct and upscale coaches. Whichever option you choose, the locals are always willing to help with chicken busses, and shuttle busses and coaches are very easy to book throughout Central America at your hostel, any tour operator, or online. Where possible, I included accommodation recommendations for places that I personally stayed at and can vouch for, or know someone who did. Malta is a lovely place to go for a summer beach holiday, however… the islands of Malta have a rich history that has yet to be explored. Will a week be sufficient? Due to its compact size, Malta allows visitors to maximize their sightseeing potential. This Itinerary is based on my explorations and carefully chosen places based on the best reviews, and my experience for an amazing road trip in Malta in the offseason. There are three islands to choose from, but You will only have time to explore two of them—Malta and Gozo—in just seven days. If You go in the off-season, however, You may also have time to visit Comino. Don’t waste Your money and time staying in different places if you’re traveling just for a week, do it only if it’s Your comfy home on wheels and you’re staying there. To give you an idea of how effective this can be, consider the following: two nights at one hotel on the island of Gozo, remaining nights in one hotel on the Maltese mainland, and one day of exploration in Comino without lodging. If you’re flying and hiring a car at the airport, Gozo as a first destination will be more convenient, but for the following days, explore Malta’s mainland. The streets are mostly tiny in Malta so be prepared for that.

There are so many places to stay in Bali! Here are a few of my faves by area!

Explore Iceland Ring Road in 5 days. More than 1800 km in less than a week might sound like a challenge when you are traveling with kids but with multiple exciting stops on the way and a good night sleep in between the complaints will be limited. Kids will especially enjoy the drive during the summer when you can see a lot of animals (mostly 🐑) during the whole drive. June is especially nice to visit Iceland because there are a lot of baby animals that are such an excitement to spot!

I personally think Vancouver Island in itself is the hidden gem of Canada, so if you're planning a trip to explore the beautiful Island, you're in for a treat! Born and raised here, I've travelled up and down the island many times to explore, hike, camp, chase waterfalls, eat, drink and be merry. I have put together a list of everything you shouldn't miss while exploring this gorgeous island! I have personally been to all these places and would absolutely recommend. I hope you enjoy!
