*This was our last stop forward and we started driving back towards the last campground

Arrive in the morning- our plane landed around 9am

Blue Lagoon (Premium Package) It comes with a bathrobe, all 3 mud masks, and a drink at the lagoon bar

Campsites $48 (4 nights at campsites- included campervan parking, toilets, showers, and sometimes a kitchen.)

Be very prepared to do LOTS of driving. Everything we went to is very spread apart, but easy to get to. Daily drives can be anywhere from 2-4 hours or more.

* You can go several miles without seeing gas stations, restaurants or toilets, so stop if you see one.

I recommend to go in the Summer (July) for best weather. It is still very cold - so pack for winter. It is best to have waterproof hiking boots.

*No need to get cash (Icelandic Króna) Everyone uses card

*Make sure your campervan comes with a heater, because some don’t. (Yes you will need a heater even in July.) We rented blankets, pillows, a cooler, a power inverter, and a wifi router. You can also rent sleeping bags, but we brought our own. 

Land in Iceland’s international airport (The Blue Lagoon is a 20 min drive from here)
