Vancouver Island Road Trip

I personally think Vancouver Island in itself is the hidden gem of Canada, so if you're planning a trip to explore the beautiful Island, you're in for a treat!
Born and raised here, I've travelled up and down the island many times to explore, hike, camp, chase waterfalls, eat, drink and be merry. I have put together a list of everything you shouldn't miss while exploring this gorgeous island! I have personally been to all these places and would absolutely recommend. I hope you enjoy!
A total of 40+ things on this map: Restaurants, beaches, hikes, breweries, shopping, things to see and do to help you fall in love with Vancouver Island.
I would personally recommend about 10 - 20 days to fully immerse yourself on the Island. This will ensure you don't have to drive for hours on end every single day and ensures you have ample time to explore everything and even have a bit of relaxation time in there.

Nice place for a pit stop, after a long drive (with food trucks too). A local brewery with killer rotating beers!

Cowichan Bay

The CUTEST seaside town. Take an hour out of your day to walk through the shops, bakeries, ice cream parlours, down on the docks to see (and listen to) sealions up close.

Hi! I'm Danielle and I am so excited you're here! My favourite thing to do is travel the world far and wide, spending my time uncovering hidden gems and experiencing the unique activities in every region. My second favourite thing to do is share my travels with you! The two things you need to know about me and my travels: I'm passionate about anything outdoors (hiking, camping, beaches, sunrises, mountains, you name it) and a food junkie (did someone say sweet tooth?). I truly put my heart and soul into building unique and fun Itineraries in the places I visit to experience the city/country to it's fullest! I hope you enjoy and if you have any questions let's chat!
