In Guatemala, every day is a new adventure. Picture yourself working from a cozy café in the colonial city of Antigua, surrounded by cobblestone streets and colorful facades. On weekends, you could be hiking up active volcanoes, exploring chaotic local markets, or diving into crystal-clear waters. The country’s diverse landscapes—from rain forests and serene lakes to rugged mountains and black beaches—offer endless opportunities for exploration and inspiration. This guide is a 1-month itinerary for digital nomads, taking you from Xela, to Lake Atitlán, to El Paredón, and Antigua where you can hike the volcano Acatenango, then pursue your journey north to Semuc Champey and Flores. I did this trip in May 2023 and would recommend it to everyone. Just an insight in how I build this guide. It is based on my experience, I was traveling with my partner. We were working from Monday to Thursday and would travel in the weekends. I will add the following sign 🏠, to the places we stayed but I will also add a cheaper option and a more expensive option, that I found either on hostelworld, booking.com or Airbnb with good reviews. Legend: ❤️- Highly recommend (the more hearts the more I loved it) 🏠 - The places I stayed 💻 - Restaurant you can work from 💵= Budget 💵💵 Mid-Budget 💵💵💵High Budget If you have any question do not hesitate to book a consultancy or send me a DM through instagram: https://www.instagram.com/anywherewithanea/ Also, if you book through the links I added I will earn some commission this will not add costs to you but will give me some extra earnings. Thank you in advance and I hope you will enjoy Guatemala as much as I did.

I have been living in Argentina for the past year (plus 5 months in Buenos Aires back in 2005). This is one of my favorite cities in the entire world, and I want to share with you what makes it so great. This 10 day itinerary begins on a Friday morning, and is arranged according to market schedules, or other events in the city that fall on particular days. But you can certainly do the activities out of order, and fit them to your schedule as needed. I have planned this 10-day itinerary to allow you to maximize your days, and hours in this amazing city, but still allow you to enjoy the small moments without feeling overwhelmed, and get rest when needed. I have spent around 100 hours researching, writing descriptions to give detailed information of every place mentioned in this itinerary, visiting and testing out each day; they are all genuine recommendations. I have carefully planned out and timed each activity, including transportation and time moving between sites. I have also linked related articles and videos from my blog and YouTube channel. This itinerary will provide you not only with daily activities, but information on how to get the best exchange rate, how to stay safe, and information for transportation- how to get from spot to spot, so you can put as little time into planning as possible. Let me do that for you! :) This is not the ideal itinerary for those seeking the nightlife and parties. It is full of morning, daytime, and evening activities (with a few optional activities that go into the night) to help you get to know the culture of Buenos Aires and Argentina. It does not include nightclubs. This is a great itinerary if you are coming to Buenos Aires for the first time and you want to see all the important places, along with a few extra gems. This can also serve if you live in the city but have friends and family coming to visit. I've got it all planned out for you! I have included a lot of walking in this itinerary, though I have attempted to concentrate each day in one particular area of the city whenever possible. However, the city is full of transportation options if you prefer less steps due to accessability issues, or fatigue. I strongly suggest reading through the entire itinerary at the beginning of the week in case there are places where you need to make a reservation. If so, it will be listed at the top of each day.

Only the best spots to shop, wine, dine and get hyped up in the Spanish capital - a modern city that honors its historical heritage. Passionate people from Madrid are all about getting together, enjoying life and art in all its forms. Regardless of the season, Madrid abounds in art venues, cultural manifestations and night life. However, a little bit of shopping won’t hurt either. 😉 Highlights: 🐻 El Oso y el Madroño (the Bear and the Strawberry Tree) - the symbol of the city, is a sculpture from the 2nd half of the 20th century, that represents the coat of arms of Madrid and is found on the east side of the Puerta del Sol, between Calle de Alcalá and Carrera de San Jerónimo, in the historical centre of the capital. 🐂 Corrida de toros - Spanish-style bullfighting, involves a physical contest with humans (and other animals) attempting to publicly subdue, immobilize, or kill a bull. The most common bull used is the Spanish Fighting Bull (Toro Bravo), a type of cattle native to the Iberian Peninsula. This style of bullfighting is seen to be both a sport and performance art. In a traditional corrida, three toreros (or matadores) each "fight" against two out of a total of six "fighting" bulls to death. 💃🏻Flamenco - is an art form (incorporating poetry, singing, guitar playing, dance, polyrhythmic hand-clapping and finger snapping) strongly influenced by the Gitanos, but which has its deeper roots in Moorish musical traditions. Flamenco culture originated in Andalusia, but has since become one of the icons of Spanish music and even Spanish culture in general. 🍖Jamón - is a kind of dry-cured ham that’s at the heart of Spanish culture and cuisine. There exist two great traditions of artisanal cured hams in Spain, both of which are a source of enjoyment and great pride among Spaniards: 1. Jamón Serrano - a cured country ham made from conventional pork. 2. Jamón Ibérico - produced from non-acorn fed pigs (Cerdo Ibérico) or acorn-fed variety which results in Jamón Ibérico de Bellota (considered the world's finest ham). 🥨 Churros - is a type of fried dough, made with choux pastry dough piped into hot oil with a piping bag and large closed star tip or similar shape. They can either be thin (and sometimes knotted) or long and thick, where they are known as porras or jeringos in some regions. Normally eaten for breakfast dipped in champurrado, hot chocolate, dulce de leche or café con leche. 🏟️ Football fans should be very excited about Madrid, as it hosts one of the best teams ever - Real Madrid. Visit Real Madrid’s home by taking a tour on their stadium, Santiago Bernabéu.
