San Jose Del Cabo
If they’re not road-tripping down from California, most people fly into San Jose when they arrive in Baja, where I then recommend renting a car. San Jose has lots to offer including stunning beaches perfect for snorkeling or surfing, incredible farm-to-table restaurants, and a charming little town center to explore.

Chileno Bay Public Beach

Chileno Beach is great for swimming and snorkeling. The water conditions are generally very calm making these activities accessible for most. I recommend snorkeling along the bay’s right-hand-side rocks. Avoid this beach on the weekends as it can get very crowded with local families!
