In May 2022, my fiancé and I spent five nights on Koh Phangan, a gorgeous island in the Gulf of Thailand. We beach hopped, snorkeled, swam in waterfalls, and enjoyed an incredible sunset dinner. After researching weather, the islands in the Gulf seemed like our best bet for sunshine in May. With very occasional afternoon showers while we were there, that bet paid off.

I’ve grown up spending all my summers with my family in Puglia, as half of my them are from here. Although we spend most of our time in Centrale Puglia we always make sure to enjoy at least a week in the Salento area. It has some of my favourite beaches, and I can't wait for you to discover them! From sandy shores with beach clubs to rocky coves perfect for cliff jumping and exploring, there's something for everyone. Over the years, I've fallen in love with the local foods and ingredients, and I'm super excited to share them with you in this guide.
