I lived in Montreux for 16 years and here is your ultimate guide on where to stay when visiting, either for a few days or just flying by.
1. The Historic Hotels
2. My Top Picks
3. Entire Homes
3. On a Budget
Montreux is not a huge city and very walkable (but steep). The center of Montreux is pretty much next to the train station and going down to the Lake. The Old Town is situated in Les Planches, a little bit higher (yet you will probably need less than 10 minutes to reach the Lake).

Vienna is one of the most beautiful and historical cities in Europe. I absolutely love visiting Vienna so I'd like to share my must-go places with you!
We're going to talk about:
________________________________________
° Places you could stay at
° How to travel to Europe
° Day 1 - Day 5 in Vienna
________________________________________
I'm going to add all the links for the hotels you could possibly stay at, restaurants and the tickets you can buy for museums and other attractions I've mentioned in this 5 day itinerary. I've visited Vienna 4 times. Once a year since I could travel by myself. I'd recommend visiting Vienna in September or May I feel like those are the best months to visit since it's not too hot and not too cold! I'd also recommend to travel with public transport since it is the easiest, fastest and cheapest way to travel in Vienna!

The magnificent tile!
It’s hard to resist falling in love with the azulejos (tiles) adorning the buildings of Lisbon. It seems cliché and obvious, but those tiles are ubiquitous and will overwhelm you with the sheer number of façades. Only a cold heart is impervious to their charm. And, most can be easily viewed from street level -- even while pushing a stroller.
You will see tiles everywhere you go. So, it almost seems silly to suggest a tile walking route because any walking route automatically becomes a de facto tile walking route just by virtue of being in Lisbon! It would be like suggesting a blue sky walk, or a bacalhau restaurant walk – it will automatically happen! Instead, EFTF has highlighted a few areas in which to pay extra attention to the tiles. These areas can be folded into a day’s itinerary or be the target of a special trip by an especially smitten family member.
These are presented in descending order of appropriateness for children. It’s not that tiles aren’t appropriate for children; it’s more that kids aren’t doing cartwheels in excitement for them. And as we move down this list, the tiles can be within a child’s reach – breakable!

There are countless ways to spend an incredible day in San Sebastian! After living 60+ days there, I’ve narrowed down a curated list of my favorite restaurants, activities, and bars.
About Me: I’m a 27-year-old American from Atlanta, GA. I was attending Spanish school and working remotely during my time in San Sebastian (Winter/Spring 2023). I like to say my travel style is budget with a healthy mix of splurging on cultural, dining, and adventure experiences.
About this Guide:
Who? Even if you don’t fit my exact profile, you will find something that interests you! This guide is for a coffee lover, foodie, stroller of boardwalks, adventure seeker, avid shopper, sunset obsessor, live music aficionado, and self-declared wino.
What? A jam-packed day full of breakfast, activities, lunch, more activities, dinner, and even more activities! While I don’t include stops for museums and cathedrals, I would still consider this a day of sight-seeing from a more local, casual point of view.
When? This guide is can be effectively utilized year-round! Of course certain activities might be more comfortable in warmer weather, but that didn’t stop me from throwing on a beanie and puffer jacket and making my way around town!
Where? As someone who values walkability, San Sebastian is the perfect sized town to get your steps in while still being realistic. I never used public transportation unless I was visiting a neighboring town. The roads and sidewalks are very pedestrian-friendly.
Why? Planning an entire day or trip’s worth of activities can be intimidating! Especially if you don’t have a lay of the land and a grasp on the different neighborhoods. You don’t want to be crossing the river or going back and forth from Parte Vieja to Gros all day long, you want to make the most of your time! My guide takes into account timing and locations so you can have an enjoyable, seamless journey throughout the town without constantly looking at Google Maps and walking in circles.

Considering a trip to Agrigento?
With this guide I would like to convince you that Agrigento is much more than only the Valley of the Temples, there is a lot to discover and explore!
Goethe in "Italian Journey" about Agrigento wrote: «Never in my entire life I have seen such splendor of spring as this morning at sunrise... From the window, we see the vast and gentle slope of the ancient city all covered in gardens and vineyards, under the thick greenery we can just make out some traces of the great and populous neighborhoods of the city of the past. Only at the southern end of this green and flowery slope stands the Temple of Concordia, to the east the few remains of the Temple of Juno, but from above the eye does not see the ruins of other temples... instead it runs south towards the sea.»
This city guide will help you navigate your way around the city to ensure you get the most out of your short getaway.
This guide includes:
🔺What to see in Agrigento
🔺What to eat typical
🔺How to get there
🔺An interactive map to follow with geographical locations & contact details of each location.
Italian 101:
*Salita: climbing route
*Cortile: courtyard
P.S. 📖This guide is based on my experience in Agrigento, I recommend to spend at least 2 days to appreciate also some of the nicest beaches around.
Looking forward to hearing from you and if you want more info about beaches, how to reach them just drop me a msg! ☺️
