First things first... the arrival.

I recommend you to get to New Delhi first, it is the capital of India and where you can start your tour.

Look, I have to tell you this.

If you want to visit this by yourself and you have enough time, I will give you this guide and some tips that could be helpful.

But... if you prefer some help to get along with the culture and find your way in this amazing but chaotic city you can take this 5-day private tour into the Golden Triangle.

If you prefer slow traveling and do it your own way so let's get started.

The Red Fort, located in New Delhi, India, is a historic fortress and UNESCO World Heritage Site. It is one of the most iconic landmarks of the city and a prominent symbol of India's rich cultural and architectural heritage. The fort was constructed in the 17th century by the Mughal emperor Shah Jahan, who is also known for building the Taj Mahal.

India is beautiful in its own way, at first it can be shocking and a bit difficult to get around the city. That is why I recommend you to take one of these city tours at the beginning of your trip so you can ask the guide all your doubts and recommendations, with some tours you can also get to try some local dishes.

Where to stay in New Delhi?

NOTE: If you are traveling in couples some hotel don't allow unmarried couple so stay in the same room... yes I know but is the culture so you have to call them first. and ask.

Now, let's visit a wonder.

If you are in New Delhi you will find many tours that take you on a one-day visit to the Taj Mahal, tours like this one.

Where to stay in Jaipur?

Like the other 2 places I give you some options for Hostels, even if the Hotel are cheap I always prefers this kind of accommodation where you find very interesting people.

But I know some people prefer they privacy so here you have some Hotels. Same here, always ask about the policy for unmarried couples.

Some bits of advice.

1. To move around the city you can use Uber, you can as well take a Tuk Tuk on the street but probably they'll charge you more because you're a tourist. With Uber, you can order a Tuk Tuk too.

2. There are monkey everywhere, so be careful with your stuff.

3. As I mentioned before, if you want to stay in a Hotel you have to ask first for the policy for unmarried couples.

4. If you have a delicate stomach, be very careful with food. You will always have the option of going to a fast food restaurant or with different food.

5. Be aware of the chaos of the city, it could me dirty and with a lot of noise, but try see more than that. India is a beautiful country.

6. It is worth mentioning that you are in a country with a very different culture so respect the rules of their temples.

7. Probably sometimes they will make recommendations for places, hotels, restaurants or shops, many times they do this to earn a commission but it does not mean that the place is better. So if you're sure you're going to the right place then tell them you want to go there.

Well, thats all I have for today. I hope this can be useful and you get to enjoy your trip and get to see and experience more that you where expected.
