This is an itinerary I made with my family, we did a lot of places in a short period of time, you can definitively stay longer in some places, or do just one part of it ( for example only Galicia , Cantabria & Asturias; or only Pais Vasco )
The only place I would skip in this itinerary is Vigo, the rest of them are incredibly nice. Orense is nothing special but the Canyon is worth visiting.

Ravenna is a city on the East coast of Italy, a couple of hours south of Venice: it's known as the Capital of Mosaics, a form of art that developed while the city was capital of the Roman Empire and later on during the Byzantine era. The 8 UNESCO heritage sites should be enough to convince you to go visit, but in case they aren't here's 5 reasons why you should:
1. It's CHEAPER than bigger cities like Venice, Florence or Rome, but that doesn't mean it's not as beautiful
2. Staying in a smaller city doesn't mean you won't be able to visit anything else: in fact Ravenna is very WELL CONNECTED by the railway system to multiple major destinations
3. Are you a SEA or MOUNTAIN person? Don't worry, Ravenna has both: 20 minutes east are its beaches, famous for their beach volleyball tournaments, while in the opposite direction you will find the Apennines!
4. Like anywhere else in Italy FOOD isn't the issue: lasagna, cappelletti, "bolognese" sauce, etc. are originally of Emilia Romagna, the region where Ravenna is found
5. Is Italy not enough for you? Apart from being close to Bologna's AIRPORT, Ravenna has also FERRIES that will take you to the Balkans region in no time!

When I first began writing this guide, I wanted to do something simple and straightforward. But as I delved deeper, I realised that Perugia, this charming gem in the heart of Italy, has an incredible amount to offer. From its rich history to its vibrant culinary scene and welcoming ambiance, there’s so much to discover in this small city.
In this interactive map, you’ll find nearly 70 carefully curated recommendations, including must-see sights, delightful eateries, and cozy accommodations, all within Perugia’s enchanting streets.
This guide is dedicated solely to Perugia itself, so you won’t find regional highlights here. Whether you’re visiting for a day or planning a longer stay of two to three days, Perugia will captivate you with its blend of medieval charm and lively modern culture.
Perugia is an ideal destination for couples, families, and groups of friends looking to create lasting memories together.

Did you ever wonder where "bolognese sauce" comes from? Well, this guide is finally going to answer that question! Bologna has so many things to offer I don't even know where to begin. Let me give you some reasons why you should read this guide:
- Bologna's Airport (BLQ) and Central train station connect the city to the rest of the country, all of Europe and several international destinations SUPER EASILY
- It's not cheap, but definitely cheaper than big cities like Rome, Venice or Florence. Because of its train station you might even consider staying in a smaller town nearby and saving money that way.
- You will be able to avoid huge crowds of tourists while experiencing local-living, especially thanks to the thousands of students who attend the University of Bologna.
- Whether you also want to spend a few days by the beach or go get some fresh air in the mountains, you will have the chance to do both!
