A once sleepy port on the coast of the Arabian Gulf, Dubai is now a world-famous holiday destination, not to mention, one of my all time favourite cities. Mountains, beaches, and ruins... oh my! Antalya has a little bit of everything, and I think it might be my new favorite city in Turkey after spending two weeks there this summer with my husband. We usually are distracted travelers, rarely staying more than two days in one city, and so staying in Antalya for two weeks straight was a welcomed divergence from the norm for us.
