“The Napa Valley of Beer.”
“The Munich of the West.”
Comparisons are tricky, but there is no doubt that the Denver craft beer scene is legendary. It has been around longer than most, dating back to the Gold Rush when beer did not travel or store well: it had to be made on-site, on-demand.
Home to the major Great American Beer Festival, the Mile High City has no shortage of brews to try — classic or experimental. You can easily plan an entire trip around only breweries… and hikes and fresh air… and more brews. It’s called balance.

Zion National Park is an all time favorite park for me and somewhere I go nearly every year. I think I'm so obsessed with it because it is so unique compared to every other national park and feels like a completely different world. The massive sandstone cliffs, the slot canyons, the hikes — it is unlike anywhere else I've ever been.
This guide covers the best hikes, places and restaurants to go to in Zion as well as some of the top spots to hit outside of the park in the surrounding towns. I've included a mix of must-see areas (despite being touristy) and some lesser-known hikes that are just as beautiful as the iconic ones.
This is a living map, meaning that every time I return to Zion and do something new (which is often), I'll add to it, and you'll get all of the updates automatically!
Destinations covered:
📍Zion National Park
📍La Verkin
📍Springdale
📍Hurricane
Recommendations included in the itinerary:
✔️Entrance information
✔️Shuttle information
✔️Where to stay and 6 accommodation recommendations
✔️5 hike recommendations with detailed information on permits and shuttles (if needed)
✔️5 restaurant recommendations
✔️3 places to see surrounding Zion National Park

Enjoy the snowy, cozy atmosphere, drive through the Christmas lights✨ and visit the beautiful art museum during winter.
Drive to the countryside to take some Instagram worthy pictures at one of those sunflower fields that turn into pumpkin patches around Halloween season.

Key West is Florida's most Southern point, and only 90 miles North of Cuba. Key West is Florida’s irreverent paradise, a blend of history, climate, natural beauty, cultural diversity, architecture. At night on Duval St, it is party central. Put away your inhibitions and shyness and join the fun. Key West is a very walkable town, but if you really want to experience all there is to see, rent a scooter for your entire trip. Trust me, it's a blast.
I decided to take a long weekend solo to Key West. What a fun town to chill, explore and party in. I tried to hit all the well known sites during the day, and some great bar and grills at night. Mission accomplished. Mallory Square at sunset is not to be missed. Also, if it's pristine beaches you are wanting to experience, KW might not be the place for you. There is only one public beach (Smather) that has 1/2 a mile of white sand that is worth spending time at (in my opinion). This guide will lead you to all the best places to hit up while you're in Key West.

Columbus is the second largest city in Georgia, and is adjacent to Ft. Benning, home of the Infantry and the sixth largest military installation in the world. Both lie on the border of the Chattahoochee River across from Alabama. Parts of Ft. Benning even extend into Alabama.
I spent the vast majority of my life living in Columbus as the daughter of a career Army serviceman, so I know both locations extremely well. Maybe you're traveling through on your way somewhere or you have a military family member "turning blue," and you're here for the ceremony, either way this guide will lead you to the high spots Columbus & Ft. Benning have to offer.
I also include many of the photos I took at each place.

~ Campsites:
The majority of the campsites in the park are available by reservation. Reservations can be made the same day or up to 6 months in advance and can be booked on recreation.gov.
Book your site before entering the park.
All other sites are first come first serve.

The busy spring season runs from November to May. October is the slowest and best time. For first come first serve campsite.
(Reservation Link) below.
~ Summer Status/open date:

NE Minneapolis is well known for its dive bars. Over the past 150 years, Minneapolis has gone through many changes and developments from its original name of St Anthony to skyscrapers to freeways. Bars have always been an important part of the lifestyle here. NE Minneapolis is known as the arts district, as well as middle-class working and immigrant neighborhoods. My parents grew up in this part of Minneapolis and I taught there for 9 years. I have highly enjoyed the nightlife throughout my adulthood, Here are my top 5 recommendations for dive bars in NE Minneapolis.

Just pull up this map when you’re out and about to see where the nearest spots are when your tummy starts rumbling!
Get access to ALL the San Diego area locations of 9 regional chains, including:

When I say the word “Gettysburg,” what’s the very first thing that comes to mind? I’d be willing to wager that for around 95% of you, you’d say “the battlefield.”
And indeed, the battlefield is a big part of Gettysburg—over 6,000 acres to be exact. However, this charming destination has SO MUCH to offer that goes far beyond the battlefield. It remains one of my favorite mid-Atlantic weekend trips.
This guide aims to hit all of Gettysburg’s historical highlights, while also taking you on some unexpected turns as well.
In this itinerary you'll find:
🍎 Local Farms and Markets
🚲 Fun Activities
🍽️ Restaurant Recommendations
🏛️ Top Historical Sights
🏨 My Top Hotel Picks
---and more---
Time needed: 24-48 hours
(you can hand-pick your favorites for a day trip, or stay the night and hit everything)
Best time to visit: Year round, but April through November is particularly nice
Best suited for: Couples, Girlfriend Getaway, Families, Friends, Solo Travelers
I know you are going to LOVE this Gettysburg Getaway!

Enjoy a picturesque weekend guide (Friday Night - Sunday) in the historic New England Costal Town of Newport, RI. This guide will provide you with the perfect weekend to enjoy all Newport has to offer with a recommended daily itinerary.
Pro Tip: Newport's busiest season is over the summer (End of June - August), but the town can be enjoyed year round. Just be aware some of the shops and restaurants, not all, are seasonal and may not be open. If planning to visit over the summer, all bookings and reservations should be made well in advance.
