Graeter's Ice Cream
@flanscii
This is a must if you're visiting Ohio. One of the best ice cream shops in the US, and it's coming from an Italian! You can find this chain all around Columbus , but not outside the state. Make sure to try the Black Raspberry Chocolate Chip, which is their most famous flavor.

Buckeyes

Must have when you go to Columbus is trying their famous Buckeyes: delicious peanut butter filling with a nice chocolate shell on the outside.

The Buckeye Lady
@flanscii
Buckeyes here may be a little expensive but they are freshly made every day. They offer the classic chocolate peanut butter one but what I would go there for are all the other combinations.

Seasonal offerings

If you want the full experience of the city during the different seasons, below is my guide for all the events going on during the year.

Wanna do some shopping before you leave?

Easton Town Center
@flanscii
Half indoor, half outdoor, Easton has the best shopping mall for every season. You can find all the big brands and some more local shops. If you're looking for some last minutes gifts and souvenir, don't miss out on the Celebrate Local store or the Buckeye corner for some OSU merch.

Where To Sleep

Hotel LeVeque, Autograph Collection
@flanscii
Strategically positioned downtown, I like this hotel because it is close to the Scioto promenade which is a very nice path right next to the river to enjoy a walk, a jog or even a bike ride. There are often festivals, especially during summer that animate this part of town.

How to get around

Unfortunately public transportation in Columbus is not the best. I recommend you rent a car (cheap if you're not under 25 yo)

Or if you don't intend on driving a lot, Ubers are available at any hour of the day
