Corfu, still untouched by the clutches of mass tourism, is a haven of authentic Greek hospitality. The north-central part of this island is a treasure trove of contrasts—gyros kiosks sit comfortably next to upscale beach bars, all at prices that won’t break the bank. September is the sweet spot to visit; the blistering summer heat mellows, and a refreshing breeze caresses your legs while you sip on a kumquat cocktail. Whether you crave the adventure of charter boat rides to untamed beaches or the plush comfort of beach clubs, Corfu has it all. And whatever you do, carve out time for Corfu Town. The experience of tasting local dishes and wandering through its narrow, stall-lined streets in the evening is simply unforgettable! Here are some highlights from the places featured: ❋WHERE TO EAT&DRINK -in this section you will find my selection of favorite restaurants in Corfu. From the best Gyros kiosks to elegant restaurants with crazy views and sunset aperitifs. ❋SEE&DO -bored of the typical beach day? Corfu offers a wealth of alternatives that let you uncover the island's true essence. Picture this: you, at the helm of a boat (no license required), navigating to the island’s untouched, hidden beaches. It's the kind of unique adventure that turns a regular vacation into an unforgettable journey. ❋SLEEP -a selection of the best hotels&apartments divided according to PRICE RANGE ❋❋❋ Each section and post contains my personal advice and travel impressions. ❋❋❋

For the ultimate Singapore experience with a glamorous twist, use the historic and opulent Raffles Hotel as your base. Retire to the intimacy of The Writers Bar for pre-dinner drinks and put dinner reservations in the hands of your personal butler. With Natureland Reflexology and Massage a 1-minute walk away, spend your mornings shopping and exploring and your afternoons reviving your tired feet in the cool comfort of Natureland. If antique shopping is on your agenda, venturing to one of Singapore’s junk stores can be thrilling. One of the best is Tong Mern Sern on Craig Road; it houses three floors of antiques which will please even the most discerning collector. If you love handmade ceramics, Mud Rock Ceramics is where high end restaurateurs source their plates and where those in the know shop for one-of-a-kind hand moulded pieces with beautiful glazes. Ceramic Loft also has a unique range of handmade and bespoke bowls, plates, vessels, decor and art pieces and Thow Kwang Pottery Jungle is known for their huge range of plates, tableware, baking dishes and outdoor pots in the Peranakan style. If shopping and exploring leaves you in need of a cool down, head to Rempapa chef Damian D'Silvas favourite bar, No.5 Emerald Hill which he says is the only bar that still retains the nostalgia of Eighties Singapore. In his words, "It may not have the most creative cocktails, but the moment you walk in, you feel comforted and relaxed, and the beer is cold." For the ultimate cool down, return to the hotel and take an invigorating dip in the rooftop pool. Lose yourself in a holiday read or indulge in a light meal with a cocktail or an icy beer as you watch the sky momentarily cloud over for the inevitable tropical rain shower. Dining out is a way of life in Singapore and it is truly a foodlover's paradise. You can indulge in a Michelin starred affair at Cloudstreet one day and enjoy the buzzing energy and authentic flavours of chilli crab, chicken rice and satay at the Lau Pa Sat or Maxwell hawker centre the next. Pair the cuisine, the climate and the ease of getting around with the culture and history of this tiny flavour bomb of a destination and you'll enjoy a holiday that satisfies all your senses.

Welcome to London! Travelling with a kid can be tricky, but I'm here to help! I have created a one-week guide for my brother and his family, and I hope you will find it useful as well. But in any case, this itinerary is ideal for couples and families traveling without children. 💡This guide is divided into sections by neighbourhood to showcase some of my favourite full-day walks around the city. Each walk is a delightful adventure, carefully curated to include at least one stop your child will love. Whether it's a museum, zoo, hot chocolate cafe, or a park, there's something for everyone to enjoy. 🏠 If you need my help finding apartments based on your requirements, write to me. I have rented more than 70 apartments on Airbnb and have recommended a huge number to my friends. 🤹At the end of the itinerary you can find extra entertainment for your children. ❌My restaurant recommendations are not strictly created for families with children, as all have their own preferences regarding food. 🚲This guide focuses on walking routes, but you can also use rental bikes (Santander, Lime, or Voi), buses, or the underground (tube) to get around. You can pay for public transport with a contactless card or phone or ride-sharing services like Uber or taxis.
