Seville, the capital of Spain's Andalusia region, is known for its stunning architecture. It's home to notable landmarks like the Cathedral of Seville, which houses the Giralda bell tower, and the Alcázar, a royal palace showcasing exquisite Mudéjar architecture.

The city’s labyrinthine old quarter, filled with narrow streets, hidden plazas, and historic buildings, offers a glimpse into Seville’s past. Additionally, the Plaza de España (on the cover of this guide) with its grandiose design and surrounding park, exemplifies the city’s blend of Renaissance and Moorish influences.

Seville is also known for its lively cultural scene and festivals. The city is a hub for flamenco music and dance, and hosts major events like Semana Santa, with its solemn processions, and the Feria de Abril, a week-long celebration with traditional music, dance, and costumes.
