All my tips and tricks for a Parisian trip that you cost you an arm! Paris can be expensive, but it isn't a fatality. Once you know some good ideas, and what to avoid, you can easily spend a good trip without spending all your money. This is the exact itinerary I put together for my wife and I during our first Eurotrip. Paris was our second stop from starting in London. Why no Louvre? You could spend an entire day there to appreciate all of the art and given our limited time I thought it best to save the Louvre for a return trip when the weather wasn't as nice. In the winter, the gothic architecture of the church and cathedrals mixes up with the naked trees. In the summer, the all vibe of the city changes, every terrace is full of live and all the fountains have water (in the winter, all the fountains don't have water, because of the risk of freezing).
