🤵♂️ ABOUT ME 🤵♂️
I work as a Product Manager in a Tech Startup, but traveling is what truly excites me. With roots in India, and chapters of my life in the UK and USA, I've always been drawn to discovering new places. I have a penchant for exploring historical sites, wandering through cities, and diving deep into cultures, especially through local cuisines and conversations. I've been a Vegetarian all my life and seek out vegan and vegetarian spots whenever I travel.
In this guide, I've shared recommendations of places that I've personally been to. They go beyond the usual tourist spots, giving you a genuine taste of Dubai.

Being on a plant-based diet can be tricky when overseas, especially in a city where you don't speak the local language fluently.
This is my full guide on where to find plant-based desserts and food in Tokyo. Most of them are located around the Shibuya and Shinjuku area. Hope you will enjoy it!
Disclaimer: The information here are as good as the date published. As stores open and closed periodically, sometimes without announcements, do google or check before visiting to avoid disappointment.
Also, in Japan, the term plant-based/vegan is loosely used. Strict vegans may want to pay attention and check the ingredients used.

Welcome to Oakland, California, your unexpected coffee destination. Did you know in 2023 Oakland was voted the #8th best coffee city in the United States? It has continued to be in the top 10 for about a decade climbing as high as #3 in 2018. This comes as no surprise to the locals as there are well over 2300 coffee shops and 17-plus roasters. Studies say that for every 2500 people in Oakland, there is a coffee shop. So I hope you'll join me to get a small glimpse into Oakland's bustling coffee scene.

A week's vacation in London? It's a great idea! After all, why settle for a weekend in the British capital when you can spend 7 days? The only downside is that you'll have to find something to do. But in a city as busy as London, that shouldn't be a problem.
Lacking inspiration? Well, I'll be nice and share my ultimate itinerary for a week in London. Breathtaking views over London, Burlesque or Mamma Mia evenings, incredible street food markets and other must-see tourist attractions, find out right away what's in store for your stay in the UK. Don't forget, this itinerary isn't set in stone (and thank goodness for that, because your feet could get sore)! Use it for inspiration, and remix it to your own liking!

The UAE is becoming the main transit hub between Europe and East. This is such a perfect opportunity to explore here!
I have lived in Dubai for two years and found the beauty of this place (despite the hell of summer) in its people and diverse culture. People from hundreds of nationalities are jointly living in this country bringing their cultures, their food, their stories. All this joined together with typical Arab hospitality culture. Look beyond touristic attractions (that are in this guide, because they are pretty cool). Enjoy the food, enjoy the people.
Oh, ENJOY NATURE! There are pretty amazing hikes.
Some of them are very dangerous. I provide in the guide the contact of my favourite guide and friend.
I hope you will enjoy!

A curated list of all my actual favorites - NOT every single street food place in Paris and certainly not every single one I've ever tried.
By 'street food' I mean generally cheap (<13 EUR, with a few exceptions) grab-and-go options, where there is little-to-no sitting area; oftentimes it's just a walkup window.
Eating in public - like while you walk - is actually not very common in Paris. If you get street food, I recommend finding a nearby park or garden to sit in and enjoy it while you peoplewatch.
Guide includes:
7 Sandwich & Burger places
2 French places
5 Kebab, Wrap, Falafel places
2 Place I want to try
You also get:
✍️ My personal notes for each recommendation
📍 An interactive map of all recommendations
🔓 Access to all future updates (I'm always trying new places)
