This was the blueprint for our Honeymoon, but this trip can be used for any couple looking for a romantic getaway to Italy. We begin in Venice before traveling to Florence, 3 Tuscany Cities and Wineries, and ending this dream getaway in Positano on the picturesque Amalfi Coast. Each day has been thoughtfully planned to give you the ultimate vacation. Pro Tip: We travelled June/July, but you can opt for May/June or September/October for lower prices and less crowds while still enjoying nice weather. They will also harvest the grapes and olives around October. If traveling off-season, please note some recommendations may be closed for the season. What's Included in this Guide? *Day-by-Day itinerary with what to do, where to stay, and what to eat for 12 days (2 in Venice, 5 in Florence/Tuscany, and 5 in Positano/Amalfi Coast) *Day trips to 3 Tuscan Wineries and Cities *Day Trip to Pompei on the way to Positano *Boat Trip to Capri and various Grottos *Various museum and tour recommendations *Guidance on the Hand of God Hike on the Amalfi Coast *An Italian Dream vacation come to life Disclaimer: My wife cried on the way to our first Winery as we drove through Tuscany. Tenerife truly stands out for its diverse panoramic views. From any point on the island you can reach an elevation above the clouds in less than an hour. Visiting its viewpoints is undoubtedly the best way to experience the island's charm. That's why I've decided to focus the guide on highlighting the 7 essential viewpoints 🤩 that should be included in any visit. You'll discover the island one viewpoint at a time. No matter how much time you have or what your interests are, your mission should be to make it to these viewpoints at all costs. Don't miss any of them. After that, you can take some time to relax on the beach or by the hotel pool...😎 The guide also includes: 📣 Essential Information: tips, towns, must-visit spots, local cuisine, top activities and more. 🍽️ 5 authentic 'guachinches' (local restaurants) 🍸 5 bars with stunning views 🍦 The best ice cream spot 🍝 4 places for international food 🍳 8 brunch spots 📍 + 100 pinned places to explore from anywhere on the island And if you still have time and energy, you can explore the list of 17 hidden gems 💎 These are lesser-known and unique places that are worth discovering. Many locals believe that sharing these places will only lead to them getting spoiled and lost forever... I'd like to think that this guide will be in good hands and that visitors will take care of the islands just as well or even better than we do🙏 Note: just click on any location within the guide or map and you'll instantly get directions on your phone's Google Maps app. Make sure to download the Thatch app for a seamless and convenient experience! Looking to explore Ireland down the country road less traveled? The west of Ireland is the perfect place to unplug, unwind and experience the true heart of Ireland. I love traveling as much as I possibly can and live by two travel rules. Firstly, I have to have at least one trip booked at all times and secondly, I have to visit at least one new place each year. I went on my first flight at two-weeks old (to Ireland funnily enough) and I’ve been back to visit every year since. It’s the only exception I make to rule #2.  I’m a third culture kid meaning I was raised in a country other than where my parents were raised. I was born in London to an Irish mother (who was born in Arizona but raised in Ireland) and an English father (who was born and raised in Singapore). We moved to Connecticut when I was 6, Hong Kong when I was 13 and back to Connecticut when I was 15. In an effort to keep my brothers and I in touch with our maternal Irish roots, we spent eight-weeks each summer on the west coast of Ireland in Spanish Point, County Clare.  Spanish Point is a little seaside village along the Wild Atlantic Way about 45 minutes from Shannon Airport named after two boats part of the Spanish Armada that shipwrecked off the coast in 1588. It’s a perfect little spot to retreat to with lush, green, rolling hills, breathtaking cliffs, freshest air, and friendliest people. There are so many things to do within a ~30-minute drive from Spanish Point making it the perfect place to stay without spending too much time stuck in the car. There is so much to see in this tiny but wonderful country and you might feel pressured to bop all over the place to squeeze in as much as you possibly can. If you take anything away from this piece, it's to lean into slow travel. Ireland is the perfect place to enjoy the journey instead of just the destination, immerse yourself in local culture and connect with charming locals. Plan your trip to have no real set agenda at all. You’ll be so surprised at what you stumble upon.
