The volcanic island of Tenerife, the largest in the Canary archipelago, is located between the island of Gran Canaria and the small La Gomera. Triangular in shape, the island of Tenerife boasts the highest peak in Spain, Teide, with its 3,718 meters above sea level, and extraordinary nature.
The main attractions of Tenerife are of course the golden and black sand beaches, but the natural areas are also very popular.
Tenerife also has several archaeological sites including the mysterious pyramids of Guimar.
Whether for a passing weekend, for a relaxing holiday or for an adventurous road trip, in Tenerife you will find nature, culture, fun and many opportunities to find yourself even a little, continually immersed in scenarios of overwhelming beauty.

Tenerife truly stands out for its diverse panoramic views.
From any point on the island you can reach an elevation above the clouds in less than an hour.
Visiting its viewpoints is undoubtedly the best way to experience the island's charm.
That's why I've decided to focus the guide on highlighting the 7 essential viewpoints 🤩 that should be included in any visit.
You'll discover the island one viewpoint at a time.
No matter how much time you have or what your interests are, your mission should be to make it to these viewpoints at all costs.
Don't miss any of them.
After that, you can take some time to relax on the beach or by the hotel pool...😎
The guide also includes:
📣 Essential Information: tips, towns, must-visit spots, local cuisine, top activities and more.
🍽️ 5 authentic 'guachinches' (local restaurants)
🍸 5 bars with stunning views
🍦 The best ice cream spot
🍝 4 places for international food
🍳 8 brunch spots
📍 + 100 pinned places to explore from anywhere on the island
And if you still have time and energy, you can explore the list of 17 hidden gems 💎
These are lesser-known and unique places that are worth discovering.
Many locals believe that sharing these places will only lead to them getting spoiled and lost forever...
I'd like to think that this guide will be in good hands and that visitors will take care of the islands just as well or even better than we do🙏
Note: just click on any location within the guide or map and you'll instantly get directions on your phone's Google Maps app. Make sure to download the Thatch app for a seamless and convenient experience!

We visited Puerto Vallarta at the beginning of August 2023, which is considered one of the rainiest months (Sept is also rainy), oops! We still had a good time and were able to do all the excursions we had planned since the rain/thunderstorms usually occurred late afternoon or overnight. Apparently, the best time to visit is between April and June for good weather and affordable prices
For our 1 week trip to Puerto Vallarta, we spent the first half at an all-inclusive resort and the second half in an Airbnb so we could explore the local cuisine! I would definitely recommend doing both!

This was our first adventurous trip as a couple where we really toured around Argentina to try and see as much of it as we could in two weeks whilst really trying to get a feel for the places we visited.
In this itinerary, you'll spend two weeks covering these spots in Argentina:
-> El Chalten (Patagonia!)
-> El Calafate (& the Glacier)
-> Ushuaia (Walk With The Penguins!)
-> Buenos Aires (The Famous City)
This itinerary covers each day & outlines where to stay, where to eat, and what to do. It also covers things like what to know before arriving in Argentina, travel times, our experiences, and so much more.
We did this exact itinerary when we visited in 2021 so you'll have our input and can be sure it's the perfect itinerary to see as much of Argentina in two weeks whilst still enjoying as much as possible during your stay in each of those places.

How good do I really know Peru and why does that make this a great product? I spent 6 months in Peru for an internship. After 2 months my parents flew over to travel around Peru with me. This way we could spend Christmas and New Year’s together and my parents had their first unforgettable trip outside of Europe. Here is a complete Peru itinerary that includes all the amazing stops that the country is famous for!

*Full transparency: this is not an ultra-budget guide. We include a range of free to paid activities in each place, a variety of restaurant options and mid-range priced accommodations (mostly Airbnbs). It's based on our own travel style which we'd consider "medium budget" - we like to save money but are also willing to splurge on certain comforts and activities. We believe there is valuable information for any type of traveller though!
