Madrid in 3 days
Day 1
Breakfast at Chocolateria San Ginés

The most famous churros cafe in Madrid
Lunch at Tapas de Bodega de la Ardosa

Have classic Spanish Tapas in this famous little tapas bar, be prepared to wait if you go at peak hours as it’s a small bar!
Check out Mercado San Anton, a vibrant market in Madrid

Stroll down Gran Via down towards Plaza de Esapana, one of the big squares in Madrid.

Head towards Royal Palace of Madrid

There are tickets to see the kitchen however this is only a guided tour in Spanish (but foreigners can still buy this to see the kitchen!). You can also buy this in advance online to save time.
Have dinner at D’stapa

Get the Fideua for a change (their noodles version of a paella)!
Day 2
Head to the San Miguel Market

There are lots of different stalls to try from, ranging from Croquetas to tapas to wines and others!
Head towards Botin restaurant (the oldest restaurant in the world!)

Founded in 1725, Botin is the oldest restaurant in the world according to Guinness World Records. Be sure to book in advance and get the suckling pig and roasted lamb. Don’t forget to also give their house wine a try.
Walk by the Plaza Mayor

Walk towards Puerta del Sol

Walk by Cibeles Fountain

Walk towards the Prado Museum

Have a walk through El Retiro Park and Palacio de Cristal

Have dinner at Marina Ventura

A nice ambience and vibe, I’d recommend their seafood paella and a jug of sangria to enjoy the end of a busy day.
Day 3
Have breakfast churros at Chocolateria 1902

Walk around Malasana

Have lunch at Pez Tortilla

This is a tiny restaurant / bar but extremely popular among both locals and tourists. I’d recommend going before they open or at odd timings (however, they may sell out their Croquetas / tortillas if you go too late)! It is definitely worth going early for this.
Walk by Plaza del Dos de Mayo

Have a final stroll through Madrid before departure!
