First meal in Paris. Crepe Suzette and Croque Monsiuer. Kind of generic, but we needed to sit.

We had coffee here while we waited to check-in. The people were so welcoming and nice, but we never got back for a full meal.

The place is beautiful, the room nice and the staff is amazing. It’s like being a guest in someone’s home. We recommend this place fully! Location is better than we knew!

Le Passage
@vinnyandnicole
Nice place, nice service, good food. We both had a glass of wine and the Onion Soup. It was very good! Nicole had the Vegetable Tartin with Mozzarella and Mesclun. Vinny had Duck Confit with Grenaille Potatoes. Both were very good. We finished with tea & espresso.

We went a little American here. Nicole had Avocado Toast and I had a Cheeseburger 🇫🇷🇺🇸 Super nice place close to The Eiffel Tower.

Bistrot 65
@vinnyandnicole
We just walked by and liked the vibe. We started with Snails Sautéed with Goat Cheese, and some Oysters. Two glasses of Bordeaux and Nicole had Thai Chicken with Polenta while I had Steak Frites. We finished with an excellent Crème Brûlée. The place was chef-driven and the service was casual, while doing all the fancy moves. Super friendly.

Good, but didn’t hold a candle to yesterday’s Boulangerie.

Another Landmark that lives up to the hype! The place is cool, hip and adorable at the same time 🇫🇷

La Frégate
@vinnyandnicole
The first time Nicole and I thought it was great! Champagne, Savory Crepes and Escargot! Touristic but nice! We came back two days later with Kristine just for coffee ☕️ and our server was very nasty and rude! Which was awesome 👏 because we almost made it through the whole trip without having that experience 😂🇫🇷

Boulangerie lunch! Vinny had a Baguette Sandwich and Nicole had Quiche. We ate outside and it was better than it had any right to be!

Les Patios du Marais

This place was very nice, and you can’t beat the price. The courtyard was beautiful with little places to sit and beautifully lit at night. The apartments come with everything you could need.

Harry's New York Bar
@vinnyandnicole
This place was cool historically but still way cool as just a bar. The bartender was an old-school pro. I had one of their famous hot dogs 🌭 and it was yummy! Hemingway had nothing on us 🤓

The Basilica of Sacré-Cœur de Montmartre
@vinnyandnicole
The Sacrè Coeur is as magical and lovely as you’d imagine. Spectacular views inside and out. We took the funicular, I’m too old for all those steps. We were there at sunset and watched Paris sparkle.

Le Pot-Potin de L'Été
@vinnyandnicole
Kristine’s friend Tatiana knew of this wonderful little place. Probably mobbed in high season, but here in mid-November we had it all to ourselves. The food was great! We all started with Onion Soup, and it was as good we we had all week. I had Pot-e-feu which is like French Potroast with winter vegetables. Nicole had a Warm Goat Cheese Salad with French Toast, amazing, and Kristine had Pork Loin with little potatoes. Some wine and dessert as well. It was a happy Thanksgiving 🦃

Sain Boulangerie

This was across the street from our Le Marais studio, and it was always packed. We had breakfast Friday morning with Kristine and it’s crowded because it’s very good. We had great coffee and fancy French omelettes. Highly recommended!

Musée d'Orsay
@vinnyandnicole
If Le Louvre is intimidating we loved Musée D’Orsay. Wonderful mix of art but focused on the impressionists. We spent about two hours and saw most of what was available. This is worth your time.
