Croatia is one of the best places to visit in Europe. Whether you are looking for crystal clear waters to swim or sail into, or you are looking for a historic getaway, Croatia has it all. And if you are a fan of Game of Thrones, then you definitely must visit Dubrovnik!!

How to reach

To Reach Croatia, you can get a flight to Zadar, Split, or Dubrovnik. In general, the prices of flight to Zadar are cheaper than the other two destinations.

For this itinerary, we will use Zadar as our entry point and Dubrovnik as exit point from Croatia.

Plitvice National Park: Day 2

Pltivice national park is one of the best national parks that you will come across. It has plenty of water falls, and the most beautiful turquoise lakes that you will come across.

Along the waterfalls and lakes, a lot of pathways are laid down. And using the plitvice app, you can do easy hikes in the national park and soak in the amazing views. We spent an entire day in Pltivice national park, and absolutely loved it.

Plitvice can be divided into two sections: the upper lakes and the lower lakes. In the app, you will see 8 hikes that you can do. 4 for upper lakes and 4 for lower lakes.

We recommend hiking the upper lakes. And if you have time left, go for hike at lower lakes too.

Please book tickets for plitvice in advance, as the tickets might be sold out.

After Plitvice, we will come back to Zadar, and spend the night in Zadar.

Island hopping tour: Day 4

One of the best things to do in Croatia is to go for Island hopping tour. Split has a lot of islands in the near vicinity, and a lot of tour guides run tours all day long.

We recommend taking this tour for 5 island hopping and covering the Blue lagoon:

If you don't want to go for the full day tour, then you can also do a 3 island tour:

You can also decide to take it even slower, and just visit one island, the beautiful island of Hvar.

In Hvar, we highly recommend eating at the Fig:

The food at Fig was absolutely gorgeous. It was a tad bit costly, but the quality and taste made up for the price.

We recommend starting earlier, as you'd want to make the most of your day.

Once back in Split, enjoy the sunset view and stroll around the Riva.

For night time, do not miss enjoying live music at the Peristyle square in the Diocletian palace.
