"Vibes: 🏖️😎☀️🐠👙🩴🌸🍉🍇🍐🍹🍻 Price range: $-$$ Main expenses: - Accomadation —> tons of cute (and affordable) Airbnbs - Food & Drinks —> easy to eat out, groceries are cheap - Transport —> lots of budget flights to Zadar, need über to get around without a car Recommendations: - Stay outside the main city center —> much less expensive, often closer to nice beaches, walkable to the center - Take a boat tour of the islands! —> cool experience, get away from the main swim areas, beautiful scenery - Bring/buy water shoes!!! —> rocky beaches and sea urchins can be painful Personal notes: I went to Zadar on a group trip with some friends. By splitting costs with 5 people it was a really good price. We really enjoyed to the beautiful water (really blue and clear!) and in general had a very relaxed vacation. When we got a bit tired of the beach we explored the old town and checked out the historical sites and interesting markets/shops. In early July it was pretty hot, but the temperature was perfect weather for the beach. I will definitely be coming back to explore some more nature! Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/5 - sea urchin sting (ouch!) - was a bit hot in July to really explore the Old Town without lots of breaks/gelato;) + beautiful & afforable location + easy to get around (very walkable) + little language barrier: English is commonly spoken "

"Don't forget to stop in Zadar. It's charming and unique compared to Sibenik and Split. Don't think they are all the same, it's worth stopping here. It has a very nice water front promenade, where you will find a sea organ and a disco style floor. What is a sea organ you ask? You'll just have to find out. :-) "
