Results for Constanza
The main destinations when visiting the Romanian seaside. 🌅 Below are all the best places: tourist attractions, dining/drinking spots and shops within and around the city.
Home of the famous NEVERSEA music festival that takes place every year (at the beggining of July), Constanta comes alive during the summer season. ⛱️ ☀️ It is a cultural conjunction of multiple ethnic traditions: Romanian, Greek, Turkish, Tatar, Aromanian. This stands out especially in the region’s cuisine, therefore you may find various dishes around here to delight your taste buds, no matter the preferences (don’t miss out on the seafood and fish-based menus available at many local venues called “cherhanale” 🐟).

Welcome to Rome! I know this city can be overwhelming, so I'm here to help! I've divided this guide in various sections (neighbourhood names). These are my favorite places to eat and drink in the Eternal City
Please remember it is always best to make reservations while in Rome. If you show up to a restaurant and they are fully booked, they most likely send you away, there is no concept of waiting in line for the next table to free up in Rome (there are some exceptions like most pizza places)
Tipping in restaurants is not expected, but it is always very much appreciated! Please remember that tips can only be left in cash so make sure to always have some smaller pieces on hand (it is also preferred when paying for small things like a coffee or water bottle in a bar)

Romania is such a beautiful country and it offers so much: the Carpathian mountains, the Black Sea, the Danube Delta, vibrant cities, untouched countryside, castles, medieval cities, fortresses and the list could go on.
As someone who lived in Romania for 18 years and who now lives in NYC, I realized that most people only think of Bucharest and maybe Dracula's Castle when they think of Romania. And unfortunately that's not even scratching the surface of what this incredible country has to offer.
I created this guide to show you all the locations you need to explore so you can plan an epic trip to Romania. The guide is divided into the following categories:
- How to get to Romania
- How to travel inside Romania
- Cities
- Castles
- Lakes
- Scenic roads
- Waterfalls
- Salt mines
- Danube
- Scenic train rides
- Fortresses
- Churches and monasteries
- Roman and Dacian history
- Thermal water spas
- Black Sea resort towns
- Caves
- Other
I hope you visit Romania soon and enjoy its beauty!

Lake Constance, also known as Bodensee, borders Germany, Switzerland, and Austria. Visiting this lake in summer truly gave me a delightful holiday vibe. Though it might not be Marmaris, Konstanz still provided me with a warm and enjoyable summer experience. While the lake brings fantastic picnics, boat tours, and fun water sports, Konstanz has much more to offer. The city is a haven for cyclists, with its festivals and beautiful streets making it worth exploring as a tourist, student, or even a potential resident.
Here's my “Don’t leave Konstanz without experiencing these” list:
