Getting there
Valpolicella covers an area of 8000 hectares and is located north of Verona and close to Garda Lake. Verona is just a couple hours from Milan or Venice by train and it has an international airport. From Verona to Negrar (the main city of Valpolicella) is 30 minutes by car or train; all cities are connected by public transport (buses), but the best way to explore the region is by car or motorbike. Just consider that some streets are narrow, especially to reach the wineries.
