This is a full 2-week road trip up the California Coast, starting from the warm shores of San Diego and ending with the towering redwoods of Humboldt. Some of the days are optional extensions that can be cut if you only have a shorter time. Each day focuses on NATURE, including our favorite hikes, sunrise & sunset spots, beautiful vistas, and more. Have you ever dreamt about travelling to Iceland? Here I share the most complete 8-day itinerary along the Ring Road in Iceland! After having lived in Iceland for more than 1 year, I want to share with you my best tips based on my experience for travelling around one of the most beautiful places I've ever seen and that I like to call home. I’m also sharing special places and not only the most popular ones. What to consider before reading: • Personally, I believe that the most enjoyable way to travel around Iceland is by Campervan • The most important thing to pack is different layers of clothes, no matter what season you are in • Bare in mind that it's illegal to camp outside campings in Iceland (this is under your own responsibility) and this guide is not focusing on camping sites. • Be aware of the fast changing and though Icelandic weather. • Bring eye mask to sleep (there's almost no darkness during the Midnight Sun). • Feel free to modify the starting point of the road trip (either starting from the South or the West) according to the weather forecast (although it can be unpredictible). • I would not recommend taking detours that I suggest along the blog if weather conditions are not good. • Note that the maximum speed limit in Iceland is 90 km/h in main roads, make sure you don't overpass the limit. Traffic fines are very expensive in Iceland, you don't want to pay one! And be careful with sheep! They are constantly crossing the road. The coveted "Cashmere Road" in Umbria is dotted with amazing shops (and many times this is the factory where the sweaters, etc. are being made as well) between Torgiano & Solomeo, here are a few of my favorites where you can find great deals. If you want to spend big bucks head straight to the crown jewel, Brunello Cucinelli in Solomeo! However I recommend visiting them last - the village itself Brunello Cucinelli restored and is worth a stroll about, to see the different parts of the cashmere making process (it's like a living museum) not to mention the views are spectacular. Remember this is Italy, many places close for a lunch break so be sure to plan your route accordingly. We had breakfast in Torgiano and hit the road with IMA Cashmere as our first stop and finished at Brunello Cucinelli just before lunch (with a total of 5 stops), but it all depends on how long you stay at each shop for how many you can fit in. Did you know Big Bend National Park is the #4 rated place in the world to see the stars? This park is so stunning that on clear nights you can see the entire milky way with almost no light pollution. Recently, I checked stargazing off my bucket list and traveled between El Paso and Big Bend on a 5 hour winding road trip. On the way, I discovered all kinds of hidden gems and places worth visiting.
