This is the perfect day trip for San Francisco if you have a car available. (With food) If you have only one day in San Francisco you want it to be perfect. A good mix from sightseeing the Touri things but mixed with some local gems. This is the perfect day in SF, made by a local. Happy Au Pair approved! My friend (local to SF) send me and my Mom, when she was visiting from Germany, on this tour to make sure I show her the best, he was right and now I share it with you. I want to say, this map and day is best if you have a car available. But you can also do it without a car and get a electric bike from the city to do the hilly parts. Let’s get started.

I love visiting hotels whenever I am in a new city. Growing up, I always got excited when traveling because that meant we would be staying in a hotel again. After all these years I feel the same... I am still always on the lookout for the best stays with commendable food & drinks that a city could offer!
Here is a list that I could personally vouch for after I guided my friends & family to stay in these hotels when they were in Paris.
✨ This guide is cut into 2 sections: Boutique & Palace Hotels
✨ This guide focuses on luxury leisure stays that also have quality food & drink offerings

I have lived in Seattle for a couple years now and still find so much joy in discovering new hype-worthy food spots. After a million saved Instagram posts and countless weekends trying new spots, I have created my personal master list of food recs. For months now, it’s sat in my notes app, just a copy-paste away for friends and family looking for the best bites in Seattle. I figured it was about time to gift the general public the fruits of my efforts. Whether you’re planning a trip this year, recently moved to the city, or have lived here for years and are in search of a great new spot, you’ve come to the right place.

As a grad student, most of my time is spent working. As someone with ADHD and a very short attention span, I love changing up where I am working whether that is at home, the office, or a coffee shop. Charlottesville has many coffee shops that are both great for meeting a friend and chatting and getting some work done. Full disclosure, I am not a coffee drinker so I cannot attest to the taste of the coffee, but I LOVE tea and food.

The Best Playgrounds in Lisbon (that happen to have refreshment kiosks attached to them!)
Have you ever taken your kids to a playground with a coffee in your hand? How about a beer? Glass of wine?
At your home playground, that may be frowned upon. But, in Lisbon, playgrounds and refreshment kiosks often enjoy a symbiotic relationship.
There are dozens of refreshment kiosks (quiosques) scattered around Lisbon serving coffee, beer, wine, classic drinks and an array of snacks or bites – no two kiosks menus are exactly alike. Locals have a place to meet up with friends or colleagues. Visitors have a chance for a unique cultural experience.
Every now and then, those kiosks pop up near playgrounds. Or is it the other way around?
Either way, here are a few exceptionally safe spots for you to unwind or recharge while your kids get some wiggles out.

In New York, if you want to make it in the restaurant or bar biz, you have to be unique. So a lot of places will do things to try to make themselves different from the average bar or restaurant. Enter, the Game Room Bar. These bars & restaurants offer different types of games you can enjoy during your visit - from giant jenga, to arcade games, to the classic board game, you can expect to have some fun competition with whomever you're enjoying your time out with.
These bars & restaurants are great to go to with groups of friends, or on a date. You'll be able to enjoy good food, drinks, & lots of fun while you're there!
Most of these spots have a bar-like atmosphere, but I've included one that's more of a cafe, in case you're not always looking for a night out!

I consider Salzburg the most beautiful city in Austria, not only because I live there, but also because of the wonderful combination of architecture and nature. However, it is definitely known for not having the best weather, as rainy and dark days are frequent. But in such cases, there are many cosy cafes where you can have a hot coffee and a delicious cake, either with friends or while studying/working on your laptop. Let me show you my favourites!
