The Best Playgrounds in Lisbon (that happen to have refreshment kiosks attached to them!)
Gengibre da Estrella in Parque Estrela
Jardim da Estrela is a large pentagon-shaped green space with grassy patches, shady trees, babbling ponds and paved sidewalks (which you almost never see in Lisbon). There are a couple of playgrounds of varying agility levels adjacent to this kiosk. That fact alone is what makes it noteworthy. There is a second kiosk in Jardim da Estrela, called Banana Cafe. But, Gengibre da Estrela is much closer to the playgrounds, so it gets the preferential nod. Notably, there's are adjacent restrooms
Beca Beca at Parque Infantil do Eduardo VII
Parque Eduardo VII is massive. It's occasionally set up to host big events, like when the pope came to town. Most of the time, it's a big open space, and shade can be found alongside its edges. Parque Eduardo VII sits atop the posh Avenida da Liberdade and the gentle slope reveals greater Lisbon below. The immediate area is decidedly urban with hotels and office buildings surrounding the green space. Of note, the Estufa Fria Botanical Gardens & Greenhouse is nearby. Also, Beca Beca does have one bathroom.
Quiosque and Playground in Praça da Alegria
Alegria means happy in Portuguese, which is appropriate since this little square can be your "happy place." Praça da Alegria is a pocket park tucked off the busy Avenida da Liberdade. There are some tremendous old growth trees and a fountain to provide some tranquility to a city buzzing just a block or two away. It's worth noting that since the quiosque is run by the Hotel Alegria, you can enjoy lobby bathroom privileges across the street.
Hamburgueria da Prada in Campo de Ourique
Campo de Ourique takes a little effort to get to, so you won't find many tourists around. Interestingly, this corner of Lisbon is home to a large French population. Appropriately, the nearby Mercado de Campo de Ourique is worth a visit. As for the park, it comprises one block of this gridded neighborhood. There are ducks swimming around and park benches tucked into nooks and crannies - what else do you want? The playground isn't technically next to the quiosque, but if you intimate that you'll bring back any glassware, you should be fine.
