The Faroe Islands are the kind of place you would visit for a maximum of a week, as it is an expensive destination, much like Iceland. Renowned for its spectacular sea cliff formations, puffins, and bird watching, this archipelago is perfect for any nature explorer. Although not as large as Iceland, the Faroe Islands consist of 18 main islands, some of which are easily reachable while others require a private helicopter or special permission. It is necessary to get a car rental to get around, as public transportation is infrequent, and without a car, you may be limited in terms of places you can visit. This itinerary is based on a car road trip. Tips: No cash is needed as everything can be paid for with a credit card. Check the ferry schedule online at https://www.ssl.fo/en/home. Supermarkets are closed on Sundays, except for Mylnan. Always verify the opening hours of takeaways and restaurants on their Facebook pages, as the opening hours on Google Maps may not be up to date. Most cafes and restaurants are closed on Mondays and Tuesdays. There aren't many food places outside of the capital Tórshavn, so do plan for your meals, be it eating at cafes or restaurants or simply stocking on basic food necessities from the supermarkets. Purchase alcoholic beverages and soda at the airport for a lower price. Make sure to buy them before leaving the airport! Imagine a string of five vibrant pearls strung along a rugged coastline. This is Cinque Terre, where pastel-painted houses tumble down cliffsides, meeting the sparkling turquoise waters of the Mediterranean. Unlike the bustling French Riviera, Cinque Terre offers a slower pace, a place to wander cobbled streets and savor the charm of a bygone era. Hike between villages on breathtaking trails, breathing in the salty air and the scent of lemon groves. Dive into hidden coves for a refreshing swim, or simply relax on a sun-warmed rock, mesmerized by the endless blue horizon. For a taste of adventure, explore the dramatic cliffs and hidden inlets by kayak, or delve into the underwater world teeming with colorful marine life. Cinque Terre is a place where time seems to slow down, inviting you to reconnect with nature's beauty and the simple pleasures of life. This guide will save you many hours of trying to puzzle together an optimal itinerary for your first trip to Morocco in 7 days. I just came back and my planning efforts worked out so well I decided to write it all up. If you want to discover Morocco by yourself without going on organized trips, my guide won't disappoint you. It's perfectly doable and so much more fun! I spent several days trying to puzzle together different combinations by measuring driving distances in google maps and so on, and I ended up with this perfect itinerary. When we got back, we couldn't believe how perfect our trip was. Where to stay, best spot to rent a car, the best place to get a local SIM card, two breathtaking half-day hikes, how much to pay for food or souvenirs, ... it's all in here. 🚘🌴🥾 It’s perfect for those who want to self-drive, hike in nature and explore cultural sites at their own pace while avoiding organised tours and begin crammed in a minivan for hours on end. There's really no need for that. I'm a cook so naturally I'm interested in good food, especially when there's a good value for the money to be had. I'll share my restaurant and street food recommendations together with what we paid so you have a good idea of what to expect. If you want to save many hours of researching road trip itineraries and simply want to kick-start your first week to Morocco, you won't be disappointed! This is the itinerary my friends are all asking me about and you'll understand why.

Ciao, guys! What does this part of Naples have that is so exciting for me? It's spirit of community! If you are looking for a lively vibrant part of the city, then the Rione Sanità is definitely worth a visit while you are in Naples. It is a 'working class' part of Naples, and depending on the time of day, can be quite crowded with locals going about their daily routine. Routines that include shopping at many of the street markets where you can buy just about everything, stopping for a coffee, or just chatting in small groups at many of the several small piazzas located throughout the district. A little history-in the 1500s, the area was a valley known for healthy air thanks to its location nestled between the hills and its close proximity to the catacombs where miracles were performed. The noble community began to settle down here and it was even the route for the royal family who would travel from the Reggia di Capodimonte to the center of Naples. Travelling the route was often tricky and problematic, so a bridge was built. You can imagine what eventually happened over time- the Rione Sanità no longer had the traffic that it had before and basically was cut off from the rest of the city. What is the area like now? After years of having a terrible reputation, the citizens-particularly the younger generation have been working hard to bring that 'traffic' back. 📌This guide is designed for those of us who want to absorb the vibrancy of this slice of Napoli. 📌Those of us who want to visit the churches which are amazing museums full of spectacular artwork and architecture. 📌Those of us who want to visit catacombs and learn about Naples's rich history, traditions, and superstitions. 📌Those of us who want to walk the streets and observe some fantastic street art and murals. 📌Those of us who want to take advantage of some great examples of street food or sit down at some of the city's top pizzerias for lunch or dinner. So- get your camera, a good pair of comfortable shoes and let's go!

Explore Tallinn in 24 hours Tallinn is an easy day trip via ferry from Helsinki, Finland. The Tallink Group runs a ferry about every 2 hours throughout the day, and a roundtrip ticket will cost you roughly 50 Euros depending on which ferry time and if it is a same day ticket versus two seperate travel days. While Tallinn could easily be seen on a day trip, I believe it deserves, at the very least, an overnight exploration. Tallinn is a dichotomy of time periods, and each is well represented by various neighborhoods, all of which are worth a visit. I visited in the winter and completely fell in love with the city. I stayed in Old Town at one of the nicest hotels in the country, and I was treated like royalty. The quality of service I received was excellent, and despite the 5 star hotel rating, the prices for accomodation and food were very affordable compared to what I would have paid in Western Europe or the USA for the same. The Christmas lights were still up around the city, and snow was lightly falling throughout my stay. It was uncrowded, quiet, cozy, a bit mysterious, and definitely romantic. Old Town dates back to the 13th Century, and it is a well preserved representation of Medieval and Hanseatic Estonia. Besides historic structures, you'll find an endless supply of interesting, quirky, and charming cafes and restaurants tucked away in random cellars. Seriously, if you don't climb down a steep staircase into a cellar at some point, I doubt you explored the city to its full. If you can stay in Old Town, you should. The area is extremely walkable, and the other neighborhoods are easily accessible by a cheap Uber ride. I did not try out the public transit while I was there, but you'll have to walk to the edge of Old Town to catch a bus as they don't drive through the Medieval heart of the city. The areas around Old Town tend to be a combination of pre-Soviet Estonia, especially just south and east of Old Town, Soviet Estonia, and Modern Estonia. Balti Jaama Turg ("Baltic Station Market") and Telliskivi Loomelinnak ("Telliskivi Creative City") are neighborhoods just northwest of Old Town, and are a great example of post-Soviet, modern (and slightly hipster) Estonia. The list below is comprised of historic and tourist sites, a variety of cafes, restaurants, and bars, as well as a couple of parks, all in various neighborhoods of the city. Extensive research, local recommendations, and first hand experience helped me formulate my recommendations. I hope you enjoy your visit to Tallinn as much as I did mine. Personally, I can't wait to visit again in the spring or summer when the city is really alive.
