Often neglected, or even little known, museum terraces are a good option for lunch or a coffee far from the hustle and bustle
of the city. And what could be better than a little moment of relaxation between two visits among the works?

For the ultimate Singapore experience with a glamorous twist, use the historic and opulent Raffles Hotel as your base. Retire to the intimacy of The Writers Bar for pre-dinner drinks and put dinner reservations in the hands of your personal butler.
With Natureland Reflexology and Massage a 1-minute walk away, spend your mornings shopping and exploring and your afternoons reviving your tired feet in the cool comfort of Natureland.
If antique shopping is on your agenda, venturing to one of Singaporeâs junk stores can be thrilling. One of the best is Tong Mern Sern on Craig Road; it houses three floors of antiques which will please even the most discerning collector.
If you love handmade ceramics, Mud Rock Ceramics is where high end restaurateurs source their plates and where those in the know shop for one-of-a-kind hand moulded pieces with beautiful glazes. Ceramic Loft also has a unique range of handmade and bespoke bowls, plates, vessels, decor and art pieces and Thow Kwang Pottery Jungle is known for their huge range of plates, tableware, baking dishes and outdoor pots in the Peranakan style.
If shopping and exploring leaves you in need of a cool down, head to Rempapa chef Damian D'Silvas favourite bar, No.5 Emerald Hill which he says is the only bar that still retains the nostalgia of Eighties Singapore. In his words, "It may not have the most creative cocktails, but the moment you walk in, you feel comforted and relaxed, and the beer is cold."
For the ultimate cool down, return to the hotel and take an invigorating dip in the rooftop pool. Lose yourself in a holiday read or indulge in a light meal with a cocktail or an icy beer as you watch the sky momentarily cloud over for the inevitable tropical rain shower.
Dining out is a way of life in Singapore and it is truly a foodlover's paradise. You can indulge in a Michelin starred affair at Cloudstreet one day and enjoy the buzzing energy and authentic flavours of chilli crab, chicken rice and satay at the Lau Pa Sat or Maxwell hawker centre the next.
Pair the cuisine, the climate and the ease of getting around with the culture and history of this tiny flavour bomb of a destination and you'll enjoy a holiday that satisfies all your senses.

One of North America's most underappreciated destinations, Quebec City is a deeply charming and historic little city with a gorgeous old town and incredibly walkable sights.
Quebec City is an especially great place to visit if you live in North America and want to soak up some European vibes without crossing an ocean. In fact, Quebec City is so close to many places in the Americas that itâs an easy destination for a three-day weekend.
Good news: three days is the perfect amount of time to explore Quebec City. You'll see all the top sights, eat at charming restaurants, experience the city from the river, and even venture outside the historic core to check out an amazing waterfall.
Let's get started!

I will give you a list of different hotels, by neighborhood and variety of prices and styles.

In this guide I will share with You some of my favorite cheaper places to stay when visiting New York City.
I prefer staying in Manhattan (as far away from The Times Square area as possibleđ).
I usually book my accomendation immediately and choose rooms with free cancellation in case a better deal turns up or my planes change.
Please use my affiliate link if You book a stay at Leo House - and feel free to leave a tip.
Hotels are usually crazy expensive in New York City! When something is cheap(er) it is usually for a reason.
Most of the places in this guide donât have a lot of facilities, they are old and some have shared bathroom in the hallway too. Others have breakfast included and one place even offer free dinner Sunday through Thursday.
If You have any questions or would like my help planning Your next trip to New York City don´t hesitate to contact me.

Tbilisi: A City That Feels Like a Secret Waiting to Be Discovered
Welcome to my carefully curated guide to Tbilisi, where industrial-chic hotels, hip coworking spaces, street-side cafes, and hidden art spaces come together to create a city brimming with character. This is my current hometown, a place where every corner invites discoveryâwhether itâs a hole-in-the-wall marionette theater or an off-the-grid courtyard cafĂŠ only locals seem to know about.
Tbilisi is where old-world charm meets a raw, urban edgeâcobblestone streets and ancient baths coexist effortlessly with sleek galleries and modern design hotels. Itâs a city of contrasts, bridging the surreal and the everyday with ease. Georgia, too, reflects this duality: warm and whimsical, steeped in history yet buzzing with fresh creative energy, long past the shadow of its Soviet past.
This guide isnât just a list of placesâitâs an invitation to uncover the essence of Tbilisi. Iâve spotlighted the places I love most:
Where to Stay: Design-forward hotels with a nod to tradition.
Where to Eat: From cozy bakeries to contemporary Georgian kitchens.
What to Explore: Art spaces, quirky theaters, and streets that tell stories.
Experiences to Book: Tours and immersive experiencesâfrom food and wine tastings to art walks and cultural excursionsâensuring you connect deeply with the heart of the city.
The guide includes a curated map to help you navigate the city with ease, whether youâre here for a quick getaway or a longer stay. This isnât a checklistâitâs an invitation to explore the hidden charm, creative pulse, and untold stories of a city designed for discovery.
Here's a glimpse:
⢠6 design-led, sustainable hotels
