I will update the guide often when I learn a new story or discover another good place worth mentioning.
About me 👀
I am a French girl that moved on the Left bank 8 years ago... and never left! I adore reading and walking (I like to do both at the same time, much to my mother's apprehension). I studied literature and history and patiently assembled all the details I give you here, by searching and reading a lot.
If you interested in living full-on curious and peaceful literary tours during your Parisian stay, I host private customed tours around Paris. I'll be happy to count you in one of them!
And if you want more help to plan your Parisian trip, I'll be honored to help ;) you can find all my custom services at the end of the map! 🗺

From the time I fell in love with the Beach Boys music, I have been an ocean loving girl. I longed to go to the California coast and live the life, surfing, and lying on the beach all day. But growing up in the Southern part of the United States that never was to be. I never lost either my love of the beach/ocean or my desire to see the California coast, but it was a long, LONG time before I could make that dream come true. But finally I did, and believe me, it was all I hoped and imagined it would be.
I traveled the Pacific Coast Highway from San Francisco to Pismo Beach exploring every little place that looked fun, interesting or just spectacularly scenic. As you can imagine--I stopped a LOT. In this guide I will share with you all of the wonderful places I discovered. You too can live the dream. I also include many of the photos I took at each place.

Growing up in Oregon gave me access to a myriad of adventure activities, and one of my most beloved traditions was driving the scenic, affectionately-named "fruit loop". Stopping at various stands along the road to savor the taste of fresh fruit, pick flowers, sip on juices, and interact with friendly goats made a summer or fall day feel like a scene straight out of a movie. After exploring the loop, you can choose to continue your journey to Mount Hood or head back up the Columbia Gorge towards Portland.
This guide is the result my love of planning, research, and exploring the region on multiple trips.
It lays out instructions to help you plan your perfect trip to this area (including tasting rooms, photo spots, farms, orchards and u-pick flowers!), accommodation suggestions, direct links to every resource you could need, behind the scenes exclusive photos and videos from me, and so much more!
I can guarantee a few things with the guide you are purchasing:
-All opinions are my own unless explicitly a recommendation from another source. I am never compensated for my words or stay (I tend to prioritize budget options for this reason)
-This is a living document that will be updated as I find more gems on the fruit loop
This guide boasts an array of exciting features, such as an interactive map, precise directions that can be directly linked to your Google or Apple Maps app, and the exact coordinates to some of the most cutest hidden gems and tasting rooms that I have discovered.
To make things even more convenient, the guide is mobile-friendly when you download the free Thatch App, allowing you to access all of the information right from your phone with ease.
I would really appreciate your feedback! Please don't hesitate to send me a direct message. And if you'd like to showcase the beautiful photos you will inevitably take, feel free to tag me in them!

Budapest is a super affordable, yet rich in Hungarian history, architecture & culture. Many people visit for a long weekend. However Hungary is way more than just goulash & Budapest. 1 hour away from the city and you're in another world. In an ASIAN world. 🎎
We spent one of our favorite autumn weekends in Cserhát-mountain, when our little girl was 1 year old. The best part of this weekend was that we visited these locations following a special Asian theme. The itinerary is totally toddler-approved!
My husband and I have loved Asia for a decade now. He lived in Japan, and I have a deep connection with South-Korea. Needless to say, with such a background, everything Asian related is a little closer to our hearts.

Epic 3 Night Guide - Less touristy than the rest!
Experience the best of NYC like a local
Whether you’re planning a couples getaway or a girls weekend, take in the City like most tourists don’t. You won’t find the most famous tourist attractions in this itinerary and we’re skipping Times Square all together! You’ve seen it enough on TV.. and I swear, you won’t miss it.
Instead, we’re slowing down, taking it all in and immersing ourselves into one of the greatest cities in the world as if you were a local!
This is a near replica itinerary of a trip I took with my husband to celebrate my 30th birthday, and it was truly epic! Only thing missing was a show on Broadway - which you should definitely fit in where you can and was my only regret on this truly incredible trip.
Pack your bags, because you’re heading to…
Greenwich Village - The Upper East Side - Brooklyn - Chelsea

"If you are lucky enough to have lived in Paris as a young man, then wherever you go for the rest of your life, it stays with you, for Paris is a movable feast." 🎉
Hemingway, writer of the Lost Generation that he is, has lived the grand bohemian life in Paris, during his twenties. His experience of Paris has changed his life, for it is where he discovered his writing style and met some of the most inspiring people of his time: Gertrude Stein, Francis Scott Fitzgerald, James Joyce and Ezra Pound, among others...
With this guide, you'll be able to explore Paris with Ernest Hemingway, at your own pace: the places where he lived, his favorite restaurants and cafes, the homes of his friends, and the neighborhoods that inspired him....
Hemingway arrived in Paris after his marriage with Hadley, when he was 21 and a young unknown reporter for a Chicago newspaper. He left the city 6 years later, after his divorce, and he had become a famous novelist with his first novel The Sun Also Rises 🌞
This extensive guide contains:
- 30 places and their history
- the complete and precise itinerary to go from one place to another
- pictures, books extracts and many anecdotes to explain the importance of each place 📚
- some historic, architectural and cultural notes, to help you appreciate the neighborhood you will see along
- a reading list of books to continue your journey...
The tour is approximatively 7 km long, and can be done in around 3 hours of walking, or more if you like to take your time. I strongly advise you enjoy the journey and stop at some of the restaurants listed on the way 🍽️

A round trip 8 day route from Boston exploring New Hampshire, Vermont, & Maine. There are lots of stops and scenic sights to enjoy the natural beauty in early fall! This is a moderate paced itinerary which I would recommend spending
Leaf-peeping has become super popular and lots of the charming boutique B&Bs book out quickly because they are small. A few of the areas book out completely by mid-January. I would book no later than February.
There are also many foliage maps which will help you determine when is best to plan your trip. It is not an exact science as many things affect the exact timing of "peak" including rain fall, temperature, and more. This is my favorite map for New England: https://newengland.com/foliage/foliage/peak-fall-foliage-map/

Tokyo, the capital of Japan, is an eclectic city, an incredible mix of imperial palaces, sanctuaries, temples, but also cutting-edge neighborhoods full of huge skyscrapers and gigantic video.
Many of Tokyo's neighborhoods are like small cities, each with a different character: for example Shibuya is the district of young people, Akihabara of manga and electronics, Asakusa with its ancient temples and Ginza of luxury. Often you just need to get on the metro and get off at the next stop to see something completely different.
In this guide I don't just want to give you a list of things to see but I want to guide you to discover Tokyo through its neighborhoods.
By following an itinerary that is too precise you risk seeing the main attractions so quickly that you pass from one neighborhood to another without savoring the magic of the neighborhood itself. As everyone often says: "You either love Tokyo or you hate it" and
there are no truer words than these.
Unfortunately, Tokyo is a huge metropolis and at first glance it could give you a headache or even stun you!
In this guide you will find everything you need to best organize your trip to discover the greater Tokyo..
Inside you will find:
🗓️Best Time to visit
🚊Transportations
🏨 Where to stay
🏛️What to visit
☕️cafés
🍽️restaurants
🍹cocktail bar and nightlife
🎭activities
✨unusual places
📌1,3 and 6 day itineraries.
🎒excursions around Tokyo.
And lots of other information and advice that will help you better plan your stay...
Happy reading!👀

First time in Vancouver? Only one day to explore? This guide is a great introduction to some of Vancouver's most popular and beloved neighborhoods!
