Epic 3 Night Guide - Less touristy than the rest!
Experience the best of NYC like a local
Whether you’re planning a couples getaway or a girls weekend, take in the City like most tourists don’t. You won’t find the most famous tourist attractions in this itinerary and we’re skipping Times Square all together! You’ve seen it enough on TV.. and I swear, you won’t miss it.
Instead, we’re slowing down, taking it all in and immersing ourselves into one of the greatest cities in the world as if you were a local!
This is a near replica itinerary of a trip I took with my husband to celebrate my 30th birthday, and it was truly epic! Only thing missing was a show on Broadway - which you should definitely fit in where you can and was my only regret on this truly incredible trip.
Pack your bags, because you’re heading to…
Greenwich Village - The Upper East Side - Brooklyn - Chelsea
We’re taking it easy on day one - no taxi or subway necessary once you arrive. Strap on your cutest shoes because all of today’s stops are just a short stroll from your hotel.
- For the truffle lovers!
- Intimate, romantic setting
- Don’t miss the truffle honey burata to start and gelato to finish
- If truffles aren’t your thing, see bottom of itinerary for alternative restaurants
- NYC is famous for Jazz
- And this is a famous club
- Trsnsport yourself into a different era
- Such a fun vibe for a night cap
- Reserve your seat ahead of time.

Manhattan is amazing, but you didn’t really experience NYC if you didn’t explore any of the other boroughs… And Brooklyn is a brilliant way to get a new perspective of the city. Your comfiest shoes are needed today because we are walking… a lot!
Stroll back over to the 14 St Union Square metro, you’re taking the L train to…
- The most epic view of NYC, 100 stories up
- Platform jets out over the city
- They don’t call it the Edge for nothing
- Buy tickets/reserve your spot ahead of time
- Walk the Highline back to the market for lunch
- Many many good options
- Recommend the Lobster Roll or more pizza!
- Wine tasting is also an option!
- A must do if you can fit it in!
- Regrettably, the shows we wanted to see were not performing on the days we were in town (Sunday-Wednesday)
- I cannot make a personal show recommendations as I did not see any
