Your ESSENTIAL Guide to HOLBOX, Mexico! Where To Stay and What To Do!
Live your paradise Island DREAMS on Isla Holbox off the coast of Mexico's Yucatan Peninsular. Pronounced "Hol-bosh", Holbox is a a gorgeous escape from the garish touristic spots of Cancun and Playa Del Carmen, this cute little island offers water based activities that will take your breath away along side delicious eateries and wellness activities! This is my personal no.1 coastal destination in the whole of the Yucatan State.
- Snorkel with whale sharks in the morning, soak up the sun in the afternoon, eat delicious cuisine with sea views at sunset, and swim through bioluminescent waters in the evening, enjoy live local music at night, then don't forget to dance on the beach and have a midnight swim!
The easiest way to reach Holbox Island is by public ADO bus, leaving from the main central station in Cancun, or if you're coming from the other side, Merida. You take the bus to the port of Chiquilá, then it's a short and enjoyable 25 minute ferry ride to paradise (people have been known to spot dolphins on the way so keep a look out!). Alternatively, you can arrange a shared shuttle or taxi transfer from Cancun to the port, or hire a car. Find out why I think public transport is best and how to book it, in the "What To Do" section of this guide.
The perfect get-away from Cancun, I 100% recommend Holbox above Isla Mujeres (an island opposite Cancun)... Holbox is more authentic and less like Cancun (which is now a tourist trap and very Americanised...) read on to find out more about why I think Holbox is amazing, and all my best recommendations and tips on where to stay, what to do and where to eat, for an INCREDIBLE time there!!

It isn't the biggest city and maybe it's something you won't think about visiting whenever you're traveling to Morocco, but Essaouira has a lot to offer and I think it's a great place to get to know the Moroccan culture! The city is located at the coast and is one of the best places to surf in Morocco. Of course, there is much more to see and do here, so let me tell you everything you need to know!

Ludlow is a picturesque historic market town in south Shropshire. Bordering on Wales, Ludlow has a long and interesting borderlands history. It boasts many finely restored period buildings from medieval, Tudor and Georgian times and has a large castle.
Ludlow is a market town perfect for any foodie. The thriving market takes place each week on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays and is a great place to buy local food. Ludlow was the first town in the UK to ever plan a food festival, the first of which occurred in 1995. The festival was extremely successful and now takes place annually in September. Whilst exploring, be sure to stay fuelled and hydrated by trying out some local cuisine. Ludlow has an array of places to snack, brunch and eat your heart out.
Ludlow is located within the Shropshire Hills National Landscape (previously known as an Area of Outstanding Beauty), making it the perfect base for walkers wanting to explore this stunning part of the world. For a small town, Ludlow has such a lot to offer! But where to begin? Here's my 72 hour Ludlow Itinerary guide to help you make the most of your time in this beautiful town.

Let's explore the western part of Liguria, my area of birth, a not well-known region, less touristic, with several hidden gems that i'll share with you.
In this little guide we will focus on the area of the province of Savona.
Forget about all that stereotypical videos on Istagram about Italian summer: i'll show you the real one, lived by a local who likes a bit of adventure in his experiences.
Did you know, by the way, that this is the zone with the highest number of "Bandiera Blu" in all Italy? It's a certification given only to beaches that meet certain standards in terms of water and infrastructures quality.
How to reach:
You can reach all the places in the list by:
- motorbike: it's surely the best option to avoid traffic and to save some time for the parking, just rent that Vespa, slip between the cars, admire the landspace and live the Italian dream !
- bus: line 40-40/ these buses travel from Savona to Finale Ligure and viceversa along the coast.
- car: Ligurian riviera has strict streets, there are often renovations and there aren't many places where to park your car, keep it in mind!
- bike: a valid option for sporty people but be careful, people in this area drive a little sporty!
Keep in mind that the nearest train stations in this area are:
- Savona
- Spotorno-Noli (Located in Spotorno)
- Finale Ligure
