Khao Hua Muak

Located in Nakhon Nayok province, Khao Hua Muak (Head cap mountain) is a well-known spot amongst Thailand's trail running community. It is generally considered a moderately challenging hiking route.
The trail leads to the peak of Khao Hua Muak, offering a beautiful and secluded journey into nature. Along the way, you'll walk through diverse flora and fauna, providing ample opportunities for observation. At the summit, you'll be rewarded with breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. It's recommended to wear breathable long pants to protect against mosquitoes.
There are parking space at the base of the start of the trail. In one section you will have to walk through a local village with a few stray dogs and puppies. They are not aggressive but be cautious.

The first 2 km of the hike is a relatively easy hike and the last 1.3 km is much steeper and more difficult. Pack lunch with you to eat at the top. You can swim in the pool of the bottom level.
