There are tons of places in Porto where you can eat and drink. I chose these places because the food was delcious and consistent, the staff was always friendly, wine was natural and the beers served were well crafted.
Natural wine
Don't waste your time seeking out single varietial Portuguese wine. Most vineyards in Portugal are made of multiple grape varieties and make for delicious field blends!
theLAB Porto

Natural wine shop in Porto! The owner's name is Ryan and he is so knowledgable about the natural wine scene, not only in Portugal, but most of Europe! The shop often hosts tastings with producers or educational workshops which always over deliver! Follow them on Instagram to see if there is tasting event scheduled while you're in town!

Prova wine food & pleasure

Probably my favorite wine bar in Porto! When I was living there, I would come in for a glass of wine every Sunday night. The staff is so lovely and always have great recommendations.

Coffee
I love espresso, and in Portugal, in respect to Italy, I noticed the coffee tastes brighter, less bitter and the coffee bars will serve a longer espresso pour than the very small (three sip) espresso in Italy.
Protest kitchen

I found this spot simply by walking by, there was a message painted on the window saying "brunch sucks" I rephrased the profainities. Coffee delicious and the guys that work there were so friendly, they even wrote down a list of recommendations of where to find artisan sourdough bread throughout the city.

Alto Porto

Delicious coffee, lunch and brunch options until 4pm, and then at 7pm they open again for dinner service!

Lunchtime
Lunch is taken very seriously in Porto, many places will stop serving food and even close up after 3pm so plan accordingly! Don't be afraid to ask about the daily specials, as that is what the locals will usually order, and don't skip the soup! Soup is offered everywhere it never disappointed.
MANNA Porto - Food & Yoga
@tanaschwarz
Great spot for coffee, lunch and brunch! Again, ask for the daily lunch special and don't skio out on the soup! They have free wifi, and counter space so it's a great place to work remotely or just relax and charge your phone while you sip your latte.

Alecrim
@tanaschwarz
Photos of this litte hole in the wall, doesn't do it justice! Great place to go on a sunday day because seating is mostly avaliable outdoors. Instead of ordering off the menu, ask for the fish plate of the day, and don't forget the soup!

Época Porto
@tanaschwarz
Cute lunch spot, locally grown ingridients, delicious bread! I had one of the best soups there, and if you didn't know soup in Portugal is a staple lunch item. They fill up fast, but if you're a solo traveler they have a communal table and bar so they will find a spot for you!

Craft beer
I've traveled all around Europe and beer is the one commonality between people and cultures. There are not a ton of craft breweries in Portugal, yet but the list is growing! However, there is no shortage of great places to drink craft beer throughout the city!
Catraio Craft Beer Shop & Bar
@tanaschwarz
Craft beer bar in Porto! Perfect place to grab a beer in the afternoon before dinner, or late night. Check out the upstairs bar which has a covered patio. They have a small grill and kitchen set-up outside for various events and pop-ups.

Baobab - craft beer bar
@tanaschwarz
Cutest craft beer bar and shop! I would come here for a pint (half pints avaliable) after work! They only have five rotating taps, but there is a whole cooler of canned and bottled beer from Portugal and around Europe to try!

Armazém da Cerveja - Craft Beer Bar & Shop
@tanaschwarz
I'm sad I only made it to this post once! It was great to see two women behind the bar, and a relaxing environment to enjoy a beer mid-day after a day of walking around the city!

Generosa Pão e Pizza
