When I travel, I seek destinations where I can go on excursions, meet new people, be immersed in the culture, and feel safe as a Black woman traveling solo. The Middle East has always been one of my favorite regions to explore and Jordan had always been on my bucket list because I’d heard not only of its world wonders but the world-class hospitality of the people who live there. On this trip, I had more once-in-a-lifetime experiences than I can even count AND I felt extremely safe the entire time. Again: as a Black, solo female traveler, that's an incredibly important and sometimes difficult thing to find! With that in mind, here's my 10-day Jordan Itinerary! You can find them for each country in an alphabetical order to make searching easier for you and recommendations are everything from low-budget to 5 star hotels. A once sleepy port on the coast of the Arabian Gulf, Dubai is now a world-famous holiday destination, not to mention, one of my all time favourite cities. I grew up in the UAE as a child and I moved back there in my twenties, so I feel I know Dubai like the back of my hand. I love bringing people to this part of the Middle East and showing them that there is so much more than shopping, luxury hotels and private beaches. I created a 7 day itinerary for a chilly fun filled week in Tromsø Norway. I tried my best to find my way through this city as cheap as possible while splurging on local guided tours. No plans exist without food plans. Porto has SO MANY options, from cuisine to price points from vibes to indoor or outdoor. Here is my extensive list of all the places saved to my "must try" list.
