7 day artic adventure with no car in Tromsø,Norway🇳🇴

I created a 7 day itinerary for a chilly fun filled week in Tromsø Norway. I tried my best to find my way through this city as cheap as possible while splurging on local guided tours. If you have done any research on Norway you must be thinking how could someone make this a cheaper affordable trip…. I found a way! The use of tours substitutes my lack of having a vehicle while visiting this city. This can help those who do not feel comfortable driving in the winter conditions of the artic and saving money on a rental car. ✨ I will recommend flight paths for the cheapest routes out of the United States . ✨I will recommend restaurants, museums, bus routes, tours I personally booked and experienced, winter gear I wore ✨And give you my honest opinion on the “must see and dos” of Tromso Norway. ✨This guide is created to accommodate to solo travelers and/or small groups!

Qucik things to know about Tromsø Norway:

~ The currency used in the country is the Norwegian Krone( 95cents is about one krone).

~Credit cards are accepted almost everywhere, I did not use cash once for my seven days there.

~ Two languages are spoken by the natives, Norwegian and Sami. English is widely used and known.Most things are translated into English in the more touristic areas.

~ The temperature can drop into the negatives at night time …. The weather here is no joke please take that into consideration while packing!

~ The northern lights are a natural phenomenon, it is not guaranteed that you will see them on your trip. It is important to take note of weather conditions and aurora activity.

~ The water is safe to drink! Bring a reusable water bottle to save money on plastics!

~ Depending on your visit there may be a chance of zero sunlight! Starting in November the polar nights begin and you will be greeted with the beautiful colors of twilight for your “daytime” activities.
