In 2021 I had the pleasure to go on a road trip along the beautiful Costa Blanca in Spain. Being over 20 times in Spain, I can promise that this area was my most favorite. This is the most well-known lake in Guatemala, maybe even Central America. Lake Atitlan is also the deepest lake in Central America with many cozy, colorful towns along the water. It sits at an altitude of about 1,400 meters which keeps the weather so amazing all year round. This “Land of Eternal Spring” is a stunning place to visit all year round.

I went to go visit some sloths 🦥 as well as enjoy a few days hanging out with great wildlife. Manuel Antonio is a great spot on the southern Pacific coast of Costa Rica and a quick drive from San Jose Airport. I'd say 2-3 days is a perfect amount of time to enjoy the area and the beaches.
