I've lived in Puerto Rico for over a year now and even though it's a small island there is a lot to see, do, and eat! When moving, my husband and I wanted to be in action so we chose the metro area of San Juan as our home base.
We are extremely close to Viejo San Juan and even though it can be a bit touristy, I always recommend it for first timers to the island!
In this free guide, you will get a sample of what my paid guides have to offer.
I've handpicked cafes, brunch, dessert, spots for sightseeing, a few bars (future guide for that one), local tips, and more!
Viejo San Juan can definitely be seen in a full day, as long as you have comfortable shoes! But, you can also split this guide up for multiple visits.

Both free and paid experiences:) I highly recommend you to try out The Pongyang Jungle Coaster and visit the Sticky Waterfall for the stunning views!
This article contains affiliated links which I would make a small commission if you choose to purchase from my site:) Let me help you make the best memories in Thailand!

This guide actually includes places in both downtown Flushing and Murray Hill. Flushing is more known for its Chinese & Taiwanese influence, while Murray Hill is more known for its Korean influence.
People love going to K-Town in Manhattan, but many Korean Americans that I know advise to visit Flushing’s K-Town! It's less saturated, authentic, and is a Korean community filled with delicious food options, Korean churches, karaoke spots, and Korean grocery stores.
This map includes my favorite places to grab a bite in Flushing & Murray Hill, including spots for Taiwanese classics, Asian food marts, dumplings, Indian food, desserts, Korean specialities, & more!
HEADS UP! This map is INCLUDED in my Flushing Food Crawl guide as a bonus, so if you're interested in these spots + the food crawl, grab that one from my shop instead!

Northland is the northernmost of NZ's 16 regions. Come and immerse yourself in the pure beauty of New Zealand's sub-tropical paradise.
Explore Maori culture, the world's largest Kauri tree, pristine beaches, lush meadows boasting a striking shade of green found nowhere else and the Bay of Islands awaiting you with secluded beaches, dolphins and whales.
The Winterless North is a treasure trove of hidden gems and off the beaten path places, where countless rainbows await.
My guide includes 104 locations shown on an interactive map, the most beautiful places to visit, off the beaten path and hidden gem spots. The main focus of my guide is on outdoor nature places but also provides accommodation recommendations including free camps, places to eat and what to do.
I've visited all of these places myself (except some hotels and restaurants) during the more than 2 years that I lived in NZ. If you have time and you're doing a roadtrip you can just follow the route or simply pick out the places you like most.

Turkey is a beautiful country, full of destinations and things to do. The capital city of Turkey, to the surprise of many tourists, is in fact NOT Istanbul, but the city of Ankara, located in central Anatolia. While it's not a popular tourist destination, Ankara is a great starting point for any Turkey trip. Most places in the country can be reached by an hour plane ride from Ankara, and many places can be easily accessed by car. The city also boasts historical centerpieces, such as Anıtkabir, and many wonderful restaurants and shops, without the high volume of tourists found in Istanbul or Cappadocia
In this guide, you'll find all the best places to visit in Ankara, as well as a sample itinerary of how to spend your time there if you choose to visit!

🇻🇳 No matter how much of Vietnam you are visiting, Hanoi can easily be the best food destination.
🤤 Something that is not be missed is street food, which throughout the centuries, Hanoians have mastered to perfection!
💛 Older restaurants keep their value in secret family recipes, while newly opened ones, are just as good thanks to innovation, high-quality ingredients, and pure passion for food.
🗺️ In this map, I will uncover my extensive all-time favorite selection of street food spots in Hanoi's city center and its close surroundings. This list can easily take you days to explore them all. It took me years!
💲Most of the dishes listed are just under $2 per meal, but the experience at each place is worth so much more.
📍 You can choose by location or from food categories with descriptions, such as:
🍜 Phở, phở, phở!
🍲 Noodle & Soupy lovers
♨️ Grill masters
🌯 It's phở again! But different...
🍦 Sweet addiction
🍺 Bia Hơi beer culture
🌃 Late night cravings
🍚 Where the heck is rice?
🥖 & Others
Ăn ngon nhé!

5 budgets, all areas... so you have options for all the places you want to visit. I often like to do several nights in budget stays, then choose a couple of places I'd like to splash out on towards the end of a trip, when I want to relax more than dash around seeing sites!
Sri Lanka is spoilt for choice when it comes to sites, activities and accommodation and you can easily become over whelmed by the options which is why I encourage you to make full use of this guide and save yourself valuable time and energy.

This guide is a sum-up of my stay in Stockholm for the last 5 years. It is divided between things to see, where to eat, and where to stay. These are all the places I love to share with my Italian friends and family who come to visit. 🤩
Like every Scandinavian city, the weather can be very mutable, so be sure to dress accordingly with many layers that can be taken off if needed.
And always remember: There is no such thing as bad weather, only bad clothes 😄
I have added a section of places I love that are subjected to seasonal openings, I specify it in the guide 😉
There could be many many other places worth of being included, but these are my faves :D

Montreux is my hometown and I share here my ultimate itinerary if you only have one day in Montreux (+ some stuff to do if you do have more than one day!).
Montreux is a famous city in Western Switzerland, situated along the shores of the Lake Geneva. The two most famous events are The Montreux Jazz Festival and The Xmas Market. Definitely something you need to experience once in your lifetime! But Montreux attract people year round and is a beautiful and charming city to visit at anytime!

Everything you need as a vegetarian or vegan in Seoul. 🌱 I'll keep it real, folks: It's not *easy* but it's manageable.
Contents:
30+ vegan-friendly restaurants and cafes, useful apps and phrases, and street food options. Basically: Everything I learned from 28 days as a vegetarian traveller in South Korea (and dozens of hours of research).
🌱 30+ VEGAN FRIENDLY RESTAURANTS
This interactive map makes navigating Seoul's vegan and vegetarian food scene easier. 🔗 But because Google Maps isn't always reliable in South Korea, you'll also find NaverMap links for every location.
🗺️ ORGANISED BY NEIGHBOURHOOD
Hungry in Insadong? Or want to visit Itaewon but not sure what's available for you? No problem. I've listed each restaurant by neighbourhood.
I've included recommendations in 10 different neighbourhoods including:
- Myeong-dong | 명동
- Yeonnam-dong | 연남동
- Hongdae | 홍대
- Yongsan | 용산
- Gangnam | 강남
- Seongsu | 성수
- Jongno (near Gyeongbokgung Palace) | 종로
- and more!
🌱 CATEGORISED
Each spot is marked as 'vegan', 'vegan options' and 'vegetarian-friendly' so you know what to expect (look out for the little 🌱 plant emoji). I've also categorised whether it's a cafe '🍰' or a restaurant '🍴'.
I've also included what kind of food you can expect to find at each location.
🫡 STREET FOOD OPTIONS
15+ Korean street food options for vegetarians and a smaller list (5 options) for vegans.
💬 HELPFUL PHRASES: Because most Koreans don't know the restrictions linked to vegetarianism and veganism, it's often necessary to explain your restrictions. To make this a bit easier, I've included simple phrases you can adapt for your restrictions (and vocabulary).

☕️ 🤍 Being a veggie foodie is totally possible in Seoul, it just takes a little extra planning. With this guide, I have no doubt you'll have an incredible foodie experience.

My first solo trip was when I went to Korea when I was 21! Getting around was pretty easy with Google Maps. I even managed to take the public transport on my own. I had the chance to make lots of new Korean friends, learn the song about their National flower, wander the streets of Myeong Dong and even dress in Hanboks to visit the royal palace!
Planning a trip to Korea? Let me help you make the best memories! 🚀 If you find this information helpful, any tips are appreciated for my work:)
