Flushing Eats Map

This guide actually includes places in both downtown Flushing and Murray Hill. Flushing is more known for its Chinese & Taiwanese influence, while Murray Hill is more known for its Korean influence.
People love going to K-Town in Manhattan, but many Korean Americans that I know advise to visit Flushing’s K-Town! It's less saturated, authentic, and is a Korean community filled with delicious food options, Korean churches, karaoke spots, and Korean grocery stores.
This map includes my favorite places to grab a bite in Flushing & Murray Hill, including spots for Taiwanese classics, Asian food marts, dumplings, Indian food, desserts, Korean specialities, & more!
HEADS UP! This map is INCLUDED in my Flushing Food Crawl guide as a bonus, so if you're interested in these spots + the food crawl, grab that one from my shop instead!

Asian Food Courts
New World Mall Food Court
@HungryArtistNY
This food court is located in New World Mall, in the heart of Flushing. It's a pretty big complex, that's clean & modern, but at the base of it, you'll feel transported to Asia. It truly feels like an Asian Mall. I'd estimate that there are about 40 stalls to choose from.
You can get beverages like bubble teas & fruit teas. There's different types of Chinese, Taiwanese, & Japanese food. I wouldn't say the Japanese food here is great, compared to the other foods, but, it's there if you want it. They also even have Uyghur food, which I think is really awesome. I've really had no exposure to Uyghur food anywhere else. It's a super unique cuisine, and I think it's really cool that it's represented here.
There's also an Asian supermarket upstairs called J-Mart that's really big. If you don't have accessibility to a Chinese grocery store, you'll be able to find anything you want there - snacks, beverages, cookies, chips, and really anything!

Some of my favorites in New World Mall Food Court:
Happy Lemon
@HungryArtistNY
This place sells really refreshing slushies and other teas. My favorite one is the slushy that is made with Yakult & lemon. It’s terrific!.

New York Food Court
@HungryArtistNY
This food court used to be my favorite one. I still recommend visiting it, but unfortunately the pandemic hit them really hard, so a lot of the vendors closed down. It's smaller than New World Mall's basement food court and kind of low key, but I really like the food here.
They serve all sorts of Asian beverages and food. It is also important to support this place if you can, because the vendors can use your business 🙏.

8090 Taiwan Cuisine
@HungryArtistNY
This is one of my favorite spots in the New York Food Market. They serve your classic Taiwanese food like salt and pepper chicken, Taiwanese pork chops over rice - one of my go-to's.
